How our games work out along with EL

16th Sept - EL 1

19th Sept - Brighton away

30th Sept - EL 2

3rd Oct - Palace away

21st Oct - EL 3

24th Oct - Brentford away

4th Nov - EL 4

7th Nov - Leeds away

25th Nov - EL 5

28th Nov - Watford home

9th Dec - EL 6

12th Dec - Newcastle home

Quite shit that 4 of them are away games but I suppose they're not the worst fixtures to contend with.

Just shite that Brentford and Leeds will be on a Sunday or Monday.

Spurs, Everton, Man City, Liverpool all within 2 weeks of each other in 2nd half of Dec.

Then it's an 'easier' January of Norwich, Burnley, Brighton.

Before Liverpool, West ham, Wolves and Chelsea in Feb.

There’s an actual chance we might not get moved for tv for the first round of fixtures.

Why do we always play wolves at home as our first match

Apart from last season

Man Utd play none of the “big 6” until October 23. The rest all seem to play one of them within the first 3 games.

Interesting that Watford in the penultimate fixture is already listed as being on a Sunday? Maybe falling in line with some other European leagues where the last couple of games (as opposed to the final game) are all played at the same time? Or is the FA Cup final the day before?

December probably our worst run of fixtures next season?

Most definitely.

It's good that other than that, there's no regular run of games against the bigger teams unlike Man Utd, Norwich, Brentford, Leeds, Man City, Villa, Newcastle, Everton, Chelsea, Burnley, Watford looking at that!

They all have runs in the season against the 'top six' at some point.

We have all the big 6 at home first. I prrefered a mix tbh. I don't like playing all of them away in the second half of the season. The good news is our last 3 games are winnable for once.

Yeah that on the flip side isn't great.

Christmas run looks horrible. Was the back-to-back Liverpool Man City fixtures which seemed to affect us in 19/20 (think we had Norwich in the run too!).

Wasn’t bad in 15/16 though despite the results

Just realised Chelsea will have the Club World Cup to contend with in December. Not sure of the dates but may impact their season and fixture congestion.
