Hope Belgium get through. The're in the tougher half of the draw though. Beat Portugal and they play Italy I think. Then most likely France of Spain in the semis.

England Germany is match of the round for me, just the rivalry and all. Not that this won’t be a good game, it is the second best of the round

As a neutral, England Germany sounds pretty boring from a purely footballing point of view. 

 

You play fvcking awful football, don't bother picking your most exciting players and have scored two goals in the whole tournament so far.

For me, Belgium vs Portugal is also the number 1 game of the Last 16. Then England vs Germany.

 

I think Portugal will sneak this one but then fall to Italy in the QF.

 it is a great tie because of the history surrounding it… my reasoning is not much to do with the football really, albeit I’m expecting a good game still that will be feisty

I worked hard at building up slim excitement for this and you’ve just destroyed it with your damn reasonable points. I thought you lot would enjoy seeing England’s excitement and expectations dashed, yet again, adding yet more years on “football’s coming home”.
