As much as I hate watching England this euros because its boring and tepid to watch, im beginning to think we are playing these games to perfection.  We have turned into 90s and 00s Italy

Said this pretty much to someone on the way home. It's like England and Italy have reversed roles for this tournament.

So in my attempt to put it this into Leicester terms :D

We've beat Southampton 1-0 at home. Drew 0-0 with Palace. Beat Burnley 1-0. Beat Everton 2-0 at home. Now we've got Brighton at a Neutral ground for a chance to play Villa or Burnley at home in the semi's.

About right!..

Might get to the final..but more chance of platting fog than beating Belgium!

Hopefully Kaspers Denmark will ditch them out in the semis!

As I’ve said before, I’ll take the boredom if we get to the semis …….

otherwise I’d rather be entertained and go out in the last sixteen …..

Catch 22 though isnt it. you playing a tactical game and win you have more chance of getting to the semis that going gung ho and losing in the last 16.

I fully expect us to revert back to a 4 at the back on Saturday night.

Oh lol same applies.

The difference. Coming from a half full stadium where at the end the atmosphere was like a full house was ridiculous. Then the next game is two poor teams playing in Hampden in front of empty seats with no atmophere whatsoever. The contrast of the two games was just so unreal considering it was the same tournament and a knockout game.

Belgium don't have much to offer. Eden Hazard and De Bruyne are both injured (at least on and off), Lukaku is a beast up front. Other than that a very average team who are known to underachieve. Italy or Spain are the only team that could challenge England in my eyes. I would love to see Italy go all out against England and test the defence (and then get Italy'ed by a 1-0 defeat). The irony.

You don't rate Youri Tielemans then?

So we lose 5-4 to Czech Republic, Scotland and Croatia and you'll be alright with that?

Only at Leicester...

To be fair, he has looked average at the EUROs (much like Kante/Fernandes and some other big players who have played about 300 games this season). I am not sure he can carry this Belgium team without the creativeness of De Bruyne/both Hazards.

Italy looked very Italy-like on Saturday.

If we lost 1-0 to all 3 of them would you be alright with that?

god knows how Hampden got awarded any games at all. There must be a gazillion stadiums in Europe better than Hampden

Honestly, my ears were ringing in bed last night. That’s where home advantage comes in as well as ticket pricing.

Definitely. I had the same. Only from concerts had I had ringing ears. And to think it was "only" 40,000. Shows that it is quality, not quantity.

Out of interest anybody know about E Hazard's & KDB's fitness coz without them, Belgium aren't winning it much as I want them to if England don't.

Starting to think it'll be Spain in the other half, Italy were truly pants against Austria

Hazard's brother has looked more dangerous than him. Teilemans will get to play a more creative roll without KDB (if he's out) on the pitch imo. Belgium are still the favorites.

Grealish has to play from the start. He's been one of our most creative players in the short time on the pitch and has assisted in the last 3 (?) of our 4 goals. Against Ukraine that will sit and defend he's also the player to fall over the easiest to win us free kicks (not that we have anybody to really take them). Saka wont have the space to run into so either switch them out or play him instead of Kane (like that would happen). Mount will be back so we have to presume he'll play. I don't know, we have so many exciting and creative players but there's something about Southgate that just drains my excitement in it all. He'll play defensive even against Ukraine and if we win people will say only the result matters. Maybe that's true, but it doesn't get me hyped tbh.

Anyone got any idea of best places to go in town to watch it? Been looking online and availability is looking limited especially being on a Saturday night

Morningside Arena has it, have to pay £5 to get in but you get a free drink so it’s not too bad.
