Italy had enough chances to kill the game in 45 minutes they were awesome.

Like a Boxer who go all out in the first half of a fight and then win unanimous  points decision.

Belgium couldn't cope with them.

We will see tomorrow  what Spain can do.

Yes absolutely. I hope it's another great match.

I do think the Italians are running out/will run out of steam. The injury to Spinnazola, the fact that they will have to play 3 games in 9 days if they're gonna win it and the intensity they play at, it's unsustainable! That doesn't mean they won't grind out a result against Spain or the finalists but I just don't see them doing what they've done thus far in the upcoming games. They've peaked too early imo!

Read somewhere that whenever Spain get past the quarter finals they WIN the tournament.

Stato to verify??

Quarter finals have only been in place since 1996 so in that respect, that's the case. 2008 and 2012 they won it, any other year since 1996 they never got past QFs.

Before that, the top 2 in the two groups went straight in to a semi final. Spain were runners up that year.

Well, that will change this year then. No chance are they winning two more games (be that in 90/120 or pens).

There will be 60,000 there tonight but most of them will probably be English. If they decide to favour one team over the other, it could have an impact.

Be surprised if it sells out. I expect around 50,000. But you are probably right about the fact that most will be English. I guess from an England fan perspective, there is probably no leaning to one or the other? Probably go with the flow of the game.

Really great time to be an Italian or Spaniard living in the UK, probably never get an opportunity to get tickets for a semi and maybe the final so easily.

Hope it goes all the way, couple of red cards each and maybe a 2 week injury for a few of them.

Italy win and btts

Did this 9/2, think such a big price because semi finals can be tense affairs and Italy could revert to shutting down a 1 0 but is reflected in the price. Fingers crossed.  My other temptations were 3-1 Italy 22/1 and chielini first goal and Italy to win 50/1. Be a bit pig sick if either of them happen.

Fancy this to be one of the dullest games of the tournament.

Italy haven't really sat back against anyone in the whole tournament so far, they've pressed all over the pitch with quite a lot of urgency. Think they'll be a bit of a nightmare for a Spain side that just aren't what they used to be at ball retention to be honest.

Only real exception was the end of the Belgium game when they were under the cosh a bit but you can probably forgive that, last quarter of a knock out game against a decent side.

Not too fussed who wins this as we’re on a roll and will beat either of them ….

That’s after Kane has lashed a few past Kasper as usual ….

Happy to be proved wrong if it makes a greater spectacle.
