Hope you get it back, a long with all the other England fans that had the stolen.

Thieving cnuts😡😡😡

So a few flags have been stolen?

I can't work out why anyone would when they're worthless to anyone but the owner.

Bristol City one was stolen from England home end upper tier.

Someone attempted to take a Villa one but the lads were about a row or two from it and stopped the person tried to take it.

Surely it can only be thugs who want to be a-holes. There is no monetary (or any other) value for the person stealing.

Was literally just writing out a comment along those lines.  Why would you even take something like that?  It's not like you can sell them on because the sort of person who would be in the market for a club-specific England flag are highly likely to be familiar with the original owners, and then of course there's the names on it in Ashley's case which renders it valueless for anyone who doesn't have a group with 3 matching names. I suppose you could probably remove the personalised stuff and insert your own but if you've got the skills and motivation to do that you'd have bought your own flag on the cheap and customised it. It does lead me to wonder if it's an impulsive act by rival fans who think they're somehow 'getting one over'.  Very sad if it is that, completely misses the point of following the national team.

Exactly this.

It was there up to Saka missing his penalty. There's a 5 to 10 minute window where it was taken.

The more I think about it the more i think I passed the person on the stairs going down to collect it. I swear I seen the England badge and poppy sticking out wirh the way he was carrying it.

I mean there isn't many with that design especially fully stitched as it is.

So greatful for the help and support I've had off people trying to put the word out for me to get it back. 🙏

Mine means everything to me (not that I put it up a lot incase of stuff like this) due to it having a deceased friends name on it. If I caught anyone trying to take mine I'd cave their skull in

What was the crowd like, make up? Genuine fans, tourists or locals given free tickets like in the fa cup. I’m just wondering if it’s people who don’t usually go football taking them as a souvenir of the footy final they lucked out on getting a ticket for and as such is hanging on a Brent living room wall as a talking point.

I take it you’ve made an appeal elsewhere. Other forums etc.

I’d put money it was one of the coked-up drunk tossers who attempted to make everyone’s life miserable on the day, mate. There’s no reasoning as to why they do shit like this - shoving a flare up your arse, harassing women and hitting kids is their unexplainable MO.

Probably better off crowdfunding a replacement tbh :)
