Absolutely buzzing, another trophy I've seen us win! Minus the League Two title that's everything for us isn't it!?

Time to conquer Europe....

It ain't complete until we bring home the Papa John's Trophy.

We're allowed 3 overage players aren't we?

Stick Madders, Wilf and Vards in lol

I've not seen a single post about how good our Daniel was, I thought he had a tremendous game and whilst I don't rate him as a RB, I think he could be a very good CB and take little Wes place

Or suffer three consecutive relegations so we can bag that one

My concern is that our fans start to grow fat on success in a similar way. As our League One - and even Championship - days become more and more of a speck in our rear view mirror, there's a danger that we too will forget the underdog spirit that our club's current success is built on, and have a very rude awakening if we do ever see ourselves regress to past levels. It's vital to stay grounded.

As much as we’re trying to disrupt on the pitch, I don’t think we’ll ever truly break in to the elite from a financial point of view. We’ll always be the underdogs in that regard. We might spent £60-£70 million on transfers in a window, Man City, Chelsea, Man U can spent £100 million on one player. We’re ultimately fighting a losing battle but still winning our own little battles. It’s absolutely absurd when you think about it.

Shoutout to Slim Top by the way! All this success has him shedding the pounds!

Or the stress of realising on Thursday that we were gonna have Big Dan at Centre Back
needn't have worried, lad :amartey:

Have I stumbled into the cock waving virtue signalling forum?

We’re all just people, humans, you know, with some nuts, a few flakes and the odd cvnt.

Fofana decision to be assessed over the next 6 months

Basically they have no real idea until it starts to heal. Fingers crossed.

Was a good day out all in all.

Step-son loved it. Me and his mum have only been together a couple of years, with the pandemic, this was only his 3rd game. We've been desperate to get back watching us again.

He boasts a 100% win record and he hasn't seen us concede a goal yet.

Let's hope that record stays intact at West Ham in a couple of weeks!

True, Dan was superb today. Albeit against a pretty toothless city attack, but in all fairness he did have an excellent game.

As I said in the match thread I love Amartey for his attitude, his desire and his determination. He’s a model pro. Never let’s us down. He’s taken stupid stick from people who should know better and he’s done very little wrong. Probably the perfect ‘squad’ player.

My only regret is not being there. The celebrations looked great on the telly and noticeable that our fan base is looking younger.

Are we having a Community Shield on the banner at the top?

Question now becomes, do we need 1 or 2 CB's in this window?

With Evans back in 1 month. Would Soyuncu, New starting CB, Big Dan and Benkovic be enough

Just got back, took an hour to get off the car park. What a great day.

Honestly just got back, lost my voice and had the best day. The fans around me were great, full of voice and good chat and was a pleasure to be back in the ground amongst us all. To think hopefully things are getting back to normal, we all needed that today for the past 18 months.

Few highlights for me - Ndidi being incredible, untouchable. Soyuncu looking like a beast again.  Amartey and Bertrand slotting in well and Nacho coming on to do the biz. Soumare also looks something else!

We’ve got a long season ahead of us, however we can say we’ve already won silverware. Proud today of how we played. Still smiling.

Keep the party going, keep the football chat going, and enjoy the rest of your weekends. :scarf:
