New thread please mods, this one's been ruined by morons and grumpy gits. :plancque:

I cant speak for anyone else but apologies for my deviations. The topic hit a nerve, for personal reasons, and I forgotย which thread I was in.

ย

Going back on topic it was a fantastic achievement by the lads, and a great way to start, what I hope will be, a very successful season for us!

One thing I didnโ€™t see a lot of was the lads involving Daka in the celebrations. Kept spotting him side eyeing the lads making jokes etc but being ignored.ย Hopeย he finds his group sharpish, strikes me as a quiet lad. Weโ€™re usually quite good at that integration part so hopefully it will come.

ย

Bertrand has settled really well and was making his way round the squad chatting. Soumare was joking with a few too.ย
ย

This squad on the whole has frightening potential. Letโ€™s hope they realise it!

I sat next to a bloke who in total watched 60 minutes. Rambled on about Kelechi missing a penalty at Burton but ignored when I said he scored one at QPR.ย
ย

People had a drink at the Cup Final but fecking christ today I had to scratch my head at times, I wonder about the intelligence of the human raceย

Wasn't a bald man shouting 'sit down' horribly at folk before kick off for no discernable reason was it?ย

There's some right ****ing oddballs in our fan base. I was stood behind some morons who spent the whole first half abusing our own fans for sitting down behind the goal. I prefer to stand but singing and shouting abuse at people sitting including older people and children is bizarre.ย

ย

ย

Same here, just behind me, they booed the knee, swore at least 3 times in every sentence, we're racist against fellow Leicester fans, abused a steward, like seriously I'm not even sure they watched the game. Morons. Why bother coming to the game if that's all you want to do. I was actually embarrassed for them. Kids everywhere but they were acting like yobby children.ย

ย

Other than that, really enjoyed the day, so proud of this club, Top walking around with the Shield was the Icing on the cake.ย

Why?

ย

Does it make you feel uncomfortable?

ย

not massively, everybody knows racism is bad and people that don't aren't going to be persuaded by silly gestures (started in support of BLM). I just feel it's a slippery slope, why not do a gesture for discrimination against disabled, then one for LGBT (as well as the rainbow corner flags), maybe one for Israel too, battered women, and then it's not fair if you ignore suicide charities. it's impossible to objectively say which causes need supporting.ย

Nothing wrong with booing the knee it has no meaning any more and needs to stop.

ย

However saying direct insults to Keane and Wright that is wrong ๐Ÿ˜•.ย

ย

Why do idiots have to do that all they are, are moronsย

The fact that this has happened and keeps happening shows why they are still doing it, and why it still has meaning.

Maybe because thereโ€™s a historical, quantifiable history that goes back more than 500 years. In which a particular group have been exploited for free labor, colonized, exploited for resources,ย denied rights and till date have massive disadvantages that have clear colorations with the injustices perpetrated on them. If there is a line for causes they are in a whole different line ahead of every other cause.ย
