He looks good doesn’t he with Timmy and James still to come back!

Choosing the full back to play when we're at full strength is surely going to be Brendan's biggest headache each game.

I saw a lot of commotion at the bottom under where ITV were standing, does anyone know if two were related?

looked like some people were pretty upset with each other

(perhaps people did try to step in?)

There is a lot wrong with booing taking the knee. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to say anything.

Those who boo it aren’t opposing Marxism or political correctness, however much they try to rationalise it. Booing is an active choice to oppose a gesture for equality and shows a lack of support to our black players.

If only we’d had supporters behaving the same way as those who were there on Wednesday night that applauded the taking of the knee at Wembley today.

I wouldn't boo taking the knee, I'm not that militant, but I do wish they would just stop.

Back on track, another wee moment to say what a coup Bertrand looks like being for us.

Definitely a calming influence on our back line, and I love how he picks his moments to get forward. Our corners have also improved dramatically since he came in, don't think i've seen him hit the first man once yet. :scarf:

A very big plus from today, but bigger for me was seeing Ricky P looking like he's back to his best.

If he regains the form he had just before his injury then we have the best right back in the league

I think Harvey Barnes is the most gifted footballer we have in the club,  I can't believe no one has come in for him, I hope that continues for our sake, think he'll go from strength to strength and he'll be the player we fear losing the most, we've really missed him

He's going to be a fashionable target next summer if he plays a full season for us. Already looking back to his best. But the way this club continues to grow with him as an integral part of it, the more i'm convinced we're going to get many happy years out of him in a blue shirt.

If him and Justin are both fit and back to their previous levels, they're both on the plane to that blood money World Cup next Christmas. Which I think England actually have a chance in for once. Would be lovely to see those two lift the World Cup, eh?

So, you side with the racists on this one but you’re not a racist. Right.

Problem with your lot angry about booing the knee is everyone else in this tread wants to talk about our historic win today, and you are still getting your knickers in a twist over people standing up against racists - in a match no less, when a famous ex-England player and pundit got racially abused.

trust me, it’s not those taking the knee that are the problem

Why is it if someone has an opposing or differing view to yours they are labelled "racist", That just plain bollocks.

Remember this, EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion and should not be silent because it is a different one.

And people wonder why half the city is BAME and yet none of them come to games. Some of our fans need to grow up. Supporting Leicester as I grew up was always seen as something English people do in the city amongst the BAME community because usually the people who made the racist jokes in class were the die hard Leicester fans in my personal experience. Then again I was in secondary school 18 years ago times have probably changed. The amount of times people insisted I couldn't have been a real Leicester fan always baffled me but looking back its probably because my surname is clearly Kosovar.

I watched our win against Wolves on sky the other day from last season, Justin and Maddison were the 2 standout players in that match, but I seem to remember Justin and Barnes together doesn't really work, maybe Justin could be an answer to our right winger problem when he's fit.

Personally, I had assumed taking the knee would not be carried over to this season.

However, it does NOT bother me in the least. It's all of 5 seconds (which leads one to wonder why it apparently bothers some people - unless of course they are opposed to its intent)!

Please give it a rest, we are aloud to have a difference of opinion, you're never going to agree with each other so why argue about it.

Jim5000 **** off from my posts 🤣.

I've neither said I applaud or boo I clearly stated if people want to boo it I have no problem with it.

Called freedom of speech not that they are racists.

I don’t think it really achieves anything personally, just causes more division.

With respect on this one if someone boos players taking a stand against racism I can’t see how that doesn’t make them racist? And don’t give me any shit about how the knee is linked to BLM Marxism.

Exactly right.

As others have said there is nothing political with taking the knee.

The players aren't asking anyone in the stadium to copy them.

Its just every player, in every team in the Premier League reminding everyone there is no place for racism in the game, and they are all united in this ideal.

"You're shit ahhhhhhh" is funny. It's always been funny. It will always be funny.

Really? If you say so.

And it's been part of our club since at least when my parents were attending in the 80s.

I know - I was there...pen three. It was more a slow chant/handclap clap that built and culminated in the goal kick. The drawn out 'aaaaaaaaahhhs' after are an addition over the years. Fortunate then that you assure me it's still hilarious.

Some say you can still hear the "ahhhhhhhhhhs" echoing from the away end the day after our lot have left.

No, that'll be nothing more than a fanbase with shoe size IQ still milking it some 40 years later.

It's just one of those things that's so ridiculous that it puts a smile on mine and many other people's face. Like Jamie's magic hat, or Soyuncu's massive... ponytail.

Indeed - the football fan is easily pleased. I think you meant cock.

It doesn't offend me in the slightest - I do think it's embarrassing and old though. I also think it's tragic that I see so many kids joining in with their parents behind the goal in the Kop.

'fraid you might want to try something a little friendlier like the MLS or lawn bowls.

lol You realise that there's a lawn bowls thread on this forum? Yes?
