Thought Luke Thomas was excellent when he came on. We have 5 quality full backs, surely no other club in the world can claim that? 
 

Amartey was really solid defensively, maybe just a little rusty. He lacks the ability to play out the back which puts more pressure on Soy but he did that excellently today. He also lead that back line really well.
 

Barnes had a great first half, really scares defenders, but he did make a few wrong decisions but that will improve as he gets fitter. 
 

Madders & Tielemans played well and  Soumare was great off the bench. 


What an incredible team we have.

 

Ndidi or Soy motm for me today.

Nothing wrong with booing the knee it has no meaning any more and needs to stop.

 

However saying direct insults to Keane and Wright that is wrong 😕.

You forgot Ricardo he was solid all game and made plenty of tackles

Buzzing.

Friendly or not that Man City team was still worth a hell of a lot of money. They brought on 160 million in two players, which was probably about the cost of the 11 we had on the pitch at that point. They may not have cared as much either, but more fool them. Despite the set back of losing Little Wes (who I have to add, seems more positive than anyone about his injury and is clearly the bogs dollocks) we have made a statement today.


We have just beaten the league champions and CL finalists with their shiny new £100m golden boy, and we have deserved it. The intent here is clear, and anyone who does not take us seriously is a mug. I had mixed feelings about Brendans appointment, but the man continues to do great things here under our fantastic team behind the scenes.

 

It is an absolute joy to be a Leicester fan, it really is. No-one has it as good as us - no-one. 

 

Bring on the season. :scarf:

It has meaning to the players who choose to do it and it has meaning to me and millions of others. 

Shameful behaviour today by a minority of our fans. Hope they get identified and banned.

I think having Bertrand to his left gave him a bit of confidence and reassurance. Same could be said with Barnes having him behind him. He seemed to not second guess being so direct, knowing Bertrand had him covered.
