If Maddison doesn't sort his head out, he can sit on the bench - he was a waste of a sub today. Vardy shouldn't have to do 90mins. We've got Daka but all the subs were used.

He was clearly injured, he could barely run in that second half.

Fair enough. But he maybe shouldn't have started. Perhaps he needs to admit he's not right.

Possibly quite difficult to admit to a recurring and potentially career threatening injury at his age? Just a thought…

Great for the premier league to have this on at 8pm on a Monday night...

Yes how dare they launch their flagship Monday Night Football with 5th vs 6th last season….

And THIS is just what wrong with modern day football fans.

No empathy  for the ACTUAL fans who have to attend, just if it fits into their television viewing.

They'll get round to it at 7.50pm after discussing Man City thumping Norwich, Liverpool cruising past Burnley and Arsenal CRISIS in it's second week then unfortunately the football gets in the way.

Yeah that’s the whole point of the program. It’s a weekend analysis and then straight into the game.

Personally much rather that than three or four talking head videos from each team of players and managers saying things we’ve already heard from our own media teams.

Don’t think that’s what I said but okay. You made a point about how Sky won’t benefit from it, but it’s going to be a really competitive game between two sides that finished next to each other last season… so they will. That’s what I was saying.

Can’t believe I actually gave this a genuine response. Littered with assumptions and holier than thou “real fan” bullshit.

Take it you didn't notice Wolves kicking the crap out of him every time he got the ball.

Dear oh dear....have a word...should have stuck with original response, at least it was well rounded.

Last season at West ham was probably the worst 70 mins of football I've seen from Leicester under Rodgers.

Will be a tough game as West Ham are a decent side these days. But get an early goal and we know what their fans can be like.

Would take a drew but fancy us for the win.

Is that any worse than you assuming I’m

- Not going

- Not a “real fan”

- Only watch on TV

etc etc?

I meant it generally about how ANY away fan must now travel 100 odd miles on a monday night for a 8pm kick off and it's just a standard issue nowadays cos of tv football.

If you took offence then dont...not on a Sunday morning!!!

Agree your first point. And it’s because West Ham (& a few others) could so easily bully us that we signed Soumare & Vestergaard.

Not sure either are up to starting on Monday, but ideally both would, one to counter Soucek and one to counter Antonio

Looking at the highlights from last years fixtures, 3 of West Hams goals were from Leicester playing an extremely high line and West Ham hitting us on the counter with a long ball and getting in behind.  Hopefully Rodgers will of learned from this after having our pants pulled down in both fixtures last season.

This will be tough. The only side to beat us twice last season and they looked a lot sharper than I thought they would yesterday. Was hoping they'd get well beaten yesterday as there's a part of me that thinks of all the teams you could go away to in these circumstances, West Ham are one of the ones that might be a bit better as the fans could easily turn. They're never far from a meltdown.

Would go with the same lineup but Bertrand and Vestergaard in for Thomas & Amartey. Vestergaard is surely needed for games like this. Please no back 5 whatever we do. It was the usual shambles when deployed Saturday.

I agree it's rubbish but weirdly this was the only game in the league that could've been Monday.

Not that I like Monday night, at all.

I think we look for a little more physicality in this match.

                          Kasper

Ricardo Vestegaard Soyuncu Bertrand(Thomas if still Covid affected)

                          Ndidi

              Soumare    Tielemans

Perez                                       Barnes

                          Vardy

I do worry about how Brendan will approach this game.  Agree a bit more muscle on the pitch maybe useful.  We have to match their intensity and hopefully let our better technicians do the business.

I trust Brendan as he has made far more good decisions than poor ones, but I worry when he backs off so early in a game with going into defensive mode.  With the limited options at centre half we can't play 3 at the back surely, play to our strengths and put more firepower on the pitch.  I'd be happy for Natcho to have a run instead of Perez in the advance wide right position.
