We desperately need some muscle. With the continuing injury crisis, I'd play as.much physicality as I can and try to game a point.

Schmikes

Ricky rb

Caatagne or Bertrand at LB

Cags, big Dan and Vestergaard at cbs

Soumare, wilf, youri

Barnes and Vards or Kel up front

We’ve got to manage the second half better, because Bowen and Antonio can finish, allow them to have the chances Wolves did, we could be taken apart fairly easily.

And THIS is just what wrong with modern day football fans.

No empathy  for the ACTUAL fans who have to attend, just if it fits into their television viewing.

Spot on, but...

REALITY is that television primarily pays for those contracts that bring these great players to the PL.

True unfortunately.

I think we can get something out of this although it's a hard one to call.

They were very good at times v Newcastle but could have easily conceded more than 2.

Midfield will be where its won or lost imo

Should not get too adventurous in this one, keep it tight let them come at us . Quick through balls to Vardy or Barnes. If we leave gaps they will exploit them so no high line for me.

Think we'll get tonked...4-1.

I feel your Avatar would be quite embarrassed by that prediction.

True....

But I fear our physicality against West Ham... look what happened in both games last season.

Antonio is a monster and the rest of their side are big b***tards..

What's changed for us since last season?

Vestergaard perhaps?..but Traore knocked him over last game 😂.

Hope I'm wrong but I just fear we'll get rolled over.

I have a feeling he’ll play N’didi and Soumare. I don’t think they’ll have it all their own way in that case like they did last year.

Is your caps button broken?

Yes because I communicate s in various languages...and depends if I am too lazy to Think to Swap every 5 minutes, like you between posts...

We do need some muscle. I like the idea re Liverpool’s formation. With the arrival of Soumare we had the option to play a 4-3-3, which I would quite like to see.

Or if we just score loads in the first half, that’d do.

433 a la Liverpool

                            Kasper

Ricardo  Vestergaard  Soyuncu  Bertrand

                             Ndidi

            Soumare            Tielemans

Iheanacho            Vardy              Barnes

Iheanacho tracking Cresswell? I just don't see it. Not in a good way anyway!

Let’s go toe to toe with these, Daka, Vards and Barnes as a front 3.

Ndidi, Soumare and Youri in midfield

Vestergaard, Soyuncu, Ricardo and Bertrand back 4

They’re a very good countering side, with our front 3 would they still play on the counter?

So is Bertrand back for this one then?

I agree with most on here that I'd go Bouba, Ndidi and Youri as a 3 man CM.

Absolutely, so no room for squad players like Perez and Armarty when there's no need.

...they will tear us apart in the wide channels!!!

A definite Back Four, no three at the back with our Wing Backs pushed forward. A 4-3-3 would suffice, this is why Soumare came here for games such as these. It will be a baptism of fire for him and he will have to get use to the pace and intensity sooner rather than later. You can bring great ball skills and an abundance of talent to this club, but if you haven't got it in you to perform on match day, it is not going to work.

If Perez is selected to start in this one I'm ringing the Funny farm and getting Rodgers certified!
