Vestergaard to start over Dan Amartey probably, and Ryan Bertrand in for Luke Thomas. The rest of the team picks itself.

Another tough game, and an important test for the guys, because we were absolute dog shit against these, twice last season. So there’s an early wrong to right.

If Bertrand is positive today (and is confirmed by pcr) then he theoretically can possibly come out of isolation that Monday (although I think will be Tuesday).  He won’t be able to train with the team whilst he is isolating. I can’t see any way he plays

Vestergaard looked a bit lost in his first game. But he and Soyuncu need to start their partnership sometime.

If Maddison doesn't sort his head out, he can sit on the bench - he was a waste of a sub today. Vardy shouldn't have to do 90mins. We've got Daka but all the subs were used.

I gather he had an injury issue. Unless of course it was a head injury...

.. he had an injury situation with his hip!!!

Worryingly he kept on playing and that could have made the problem worse.

I am not sure who makes the calls but I suspect in Rodgers world the players are giving a lot of latitude and are allowed to make the calls.

I think the physio needs to read the situation and relay his opinion to Rodgers, irrespective of what the player says.

Fair enough. But he maybe shouldn't have started. Perhaps he needs to admit he's not right.

Facts? You wants facts?

Here's a fact.

The last time we played our 2nd match of the season away at WHU was in 2015. No significant correlation I can think of there...

My wedding day. What a day, and we also went top of the league! The rest is history aha

Having just seen the game through, yes big Dan made a decent block. But in all honesty very nearly cost us 2 goals. He is a bit of a liability. With Vestergaard having the benefit of a over a weeks training before WHU. He has to start ahead of Dan imo.
