Surely there's a £1m pound man from the likes of Fleetwood town we could recruit?

There was one at Lincoln but Norwich got him!

I can see that Daka’s style suits what we are trying to do more so than Ayew, but is it too much to expect a striker to be chipping in with some goals?

We're not exactly creating chances for our strikers though (probably with good reason).

Seeing a lot of negative posts about Daka which is surprising as I thought he was better last night. Ultimately, he is a flawed player - can’t stay on his feet, finishing goes from the sublime to the ridiculous, but we’re a better side with him in it. He made the Boro defence work - chased lost causes and actually created a few chances by doing so.

I also fancy him to go on a run at this level once he gets a goal.

Finishing sublime?

Did you miss the runs he went on after the last 2 times he scored?

We are so starved of success up front, running and pressing becomes a bonus, at the end of the day a strikers job is to score goals.

His goal scoring record is atrocious and will go down as one of the worst, signed as a premiership striker £20m plus and on 2 goals in the championship.

Players like a 34 year old Steve Howard managed 5 as a bit part player.

Elvis Hammond managed a 5 goal and a 3 goal season in the Championship

I hate Daka, but he had one of his better games last night, even held  up the ball and linked play.

Hopefully he'll build on it, score 10 league goals to keep us in the league and then **** off.

If he manages 10 goals between now and the end of the season I’d be offering him a vastly reduced new deal

Sublime was a stretch but it worked for the saying…

In fairness to him, we’ve created so little across the season and just relied on individual brilliance from JJ / Fatawu. In the last 2 games, we’ve actually crated chances so I’m optimistic that having a striker who at least gets in positions (Ayew doesn’t…) we stand a chance of putting a few away.

Absolute shocking player, few words do justice to just how bad he is.

Absolute fraud, I refuse to believe hes even a footballer. Still think it will come out as one big fraud.

And yet he's still a better option than Ayew.

Makes you wonder how poor our Academy strikers must be if they can not get a look in.

Watched the miss again, Tuesday night, his header early doors 2nd half he had the whole goal to aim at needlessly headed wide.  If, that had gone in we would have won.  He, is woeful.

Football doesnt work like that. We’d of naturally sat back and let them dominate us for the rest of the half like Leicester always does when ahead

It looked like he jumped a bit too early and had to stretch, thus costing his aim. A shame, but then again, I believe out of all our attackers, Daka is the only one athletic and aware enough to even get that chance.

We have a different manager now.

scoring goals is not our problem. We seem to be ok at that. There’s only like 2-3 teams out of the top 6 who have scored more than us. It’s conceding them that’s the issue.

He'll benefit from leaving as lots of players have.

He was a serviceable PL striker when he first joined, he's nosedived as the the whole club has. 5 goals and 3 assists in 1150 minutes his first PL season, you don't go from that to 2 goals in 1200 championship minutes without other issues.

He's on 0.58 G+A per 90 at Leicester is good but the context of the decline has probably hit him harder than anyone.
