Was the ref going to give a yellow then sent him off for dissent ?

Don’t see that very often !

Yep.

Cracking refereeing. God I wish it was the norm.

Peter Walton saying he thinks the ref has gave him a red card for the challenge lollol

UEFA just said it was for the foul too  - mind you should we trust them?

Embarrassing. Barely even a yellow. English refs are some of the worse around. Baffling.

We must have the worst of any major league now.

If Bayern beat Barcelona in the final match and Benfica beat Dynamo Kiev then Barcelona will be in the Europa.

Even a draw for Barca is not enough if Benfica win. Benfica have the head to head record on their side.

serie a is miles behind the prem really

chelsea won 4-0 last night in first gear

The financial gap is monstrous, which is what made the performence against napoli more poor as they have little to no depth

Napoli, who lost for the first time last weekend, are the 19th richest club in Europe according to the latest figures.

The gap between the Premier League and everything else has blown up massively over the last decade. Ten years ago, Sky Sports claims that this was the best league in the world were laughable. Now its just a statement of the obvious. It's why the super league rumours won't go away.

That said, Juventus in their current state aren't the best representation of Serie A and, on the other hand, Chelsea are exceptional.
