I think that's the first time I saw them mess a draw up. Adding Manchester United as a possible opponent to play Villarreal and they actually got pulled out as well! Embarrassing. Someone's getting sacked.

 

Anyway, got there in the end:

Villarreal v Man City

Atletico v Bayern Munich

Salzburg v Liverpool

Inter v Ajax

Sporting v Juventus

Chelsea v Lille

PSG v Man United

Inter vs Ajax is the standout tie for me for entertainment. Should be two really well matched teams. 

 

Inter been a bit wonky in Europe for the last couple years but still a good side playing some great football at times. Ajax during the same period have been electric in Europe under Ten Hag. 

 

Definitely the one to watch (so now it'll be a dour tense affair.)

 

Sporting Juve should be fun as we. Sporting looked great in their group, really entertaining and with Juve having a big wobble there's a chance of an "upset."

 

Could see both the Serie A clubs losing those.

The Villarreal vs Man U mistake wasn't costly, just embarrassing but they got out of that. I wasn't aware that they messed up after that too. If they did miss out a team in the bowl, it has to be a redraw.
