Why has Pep only named 7 subs to PSGs 12? Not sure if the exact rules re eligibility, but that smacks of attention-seeking. Surely, even  a couple of U-18:s would have benefitted from sampling the atmosphere?

Man City absolutely battering PSG. Should be well ahead.

I dunno. Kinda but I feel they've flattered to deceive a little bit.

The one that hit the post was a great chance but otherwise its been a lot of City trying to blast shots that were never on point blank at defenders in a very crowded area. They've not had a lot of really clear, open chances.

As often with Man City over the last 18 months I can't help but feel the lack of outright 9 hurts them.

Edit: to add, both teams have been amazing defensively. Man City on the press defending from the front and PSG with the low block, very well organised.

Absolutely maddening from Fletcher and Keown.

Mendes gets absolutely taken out with a really sore knee to knee as he's sprinting full tilt. Really painful looking clash.

Keown immediately starts banging on before he's seen it about how he's just time wasting and looking to get a breather. Then he watches the replay, you can see its knee to knee and a sore one, and he persists insisting it's nothing.

Then he gets subbed off and limps his way around the outside of the pitch in obvious pain and Keown insists "I think he's just out of steam now basically."

No you ****, he's hurt. I know Keown never sprinted in his life, let alone got clipped while doing it but fvck sakes.

Keown is of a similar ilk to McManaman in this respect. Any injury is like 'he'll be fine...there's nothing in the challenge...barely anything in it...just a coming together' kind of comment.

Honestly can't remember the last time I saw Neymar have a good game. I mean, he must have them, I will admit I don't watch them a lot. But I swear he's been bang average (by his own standards at least) since Mbappe went there.

Wow do UEFA have something against Dortmund?!

Emre Can gets sent off for reacting to a cynical challenge. Didn't really see any kind of violent conduct (not seen a replay).

Hummels got sent off the other week for a totally innocent challenge and it wasn't overturned.

Fletcher is absolutely desperate for Ramos to come on isn’t he. He’s normally ok but tonight he’s been cringe.

I assume injuries? Isn't it a 25 man squad, not sure about rules on youth players.
