I'd be happy with this, he's a very good technical player and a solid 7 every week for Burnley. With more freedom and quality around him he could be a very canny signing.

How can any player who is incapable of kicking or controlling the ball with one of their legs ever be described as technically good though?

F me!

Berardi with McNeil as the second choice.

Alexa, please explain 'sublime to the ridiculous'.

What shall we have for dinner tonight, darling? Fillet steak? Right you are? And if they don't have that? Aha, a bowl of dog turd!

In fairness mate I think he meant he'd like to have both of them in our squad lol

You're telling me there's no good one footed players? There's a few Argentinians that weren't bad

The "£15m bid accepted" figure comes from a misleading headline.  An article (can't find the link) claimed that Burnley had had a £15m bid accepted for Cornet and speculated that McNeil might interest Leicester; the headline writer misread it and put in a headline implying that the £15m accepted bid was for McNeil.

He would cost a lot more.

Are you trying to compare McNeil with Maradona and Messi? :jawdrop:

You can only get away with being one footed if your one foot is elite, those 2 and Arjen Robben, for Dwight McNeil it just limits his game too much.

Absolutely no way Riyad could be described as one-footed.

I was going to say, he will cost closer to £40-50 surely? Regardless of how we rate him you guys rate him very highly, and losing his would be pretty detrimental I’d imagine?

Not at all, I'm saying you can be good and one footed. Clearly.

All this talk of one footed players have given me a horrendous flash back to Danny Tiatto dribbling in a circle because he was so one footed! An image I'd not long forgotten!!

What you’ve got to ask is, is he better than Perez and Albrighton? Answer for me is yes.

He's scored no more goals than them. But he has age and the fact he's played for Burnley on his side. I'm surprised he's still only 22 to be fair and I reckon he's probably worth a gamble.

Absolutely he is quality - if you consider he plays for Burnley and their style of play plus the amount of possession they have he is under rated. He may not Daka in pace terms but he technically is superb and has been brought up to work defensively so in a team with more possession and with other threats he would be an asset. He has lots of room to develop and would provide real quality with his left foot - the challenge will be price because I would be amazed if they didn’t demand at least £40m.

He is a player who would improve our first 11 IMO!

Thing is... In his homeland the circle went the other way. Physics they tell me.

Tiatto was something else haha, I be he drive around islands in the road several times before to came off.

something about left backs! Seems to be a position where you can only play if your right foot is completely redundant. Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge anyone?

We've had a few too! Chilwell springs to mind...
