Calm down lol

If we sign Dwight Mcneil, Top will literally sack everyone in disgust, sell the club back to Mandaric in despair, we'll be relegated by the end of the season and wind up back in administration by next October.

So does that mean you’re  ‘for’ or ‘against’? 🤔

No. Slow and not good enough.

...I  wonder if we are looking to offload Madders and bring in McNeil as a#10!!!

It would make a lot more sense and would help us in the final third where a lot of chances go a begging due to the wrong pass been played and players taking the wrong options.

Anything else would make little sense.

I think it is more likely that we put in a last minute bid for James Tarkowski than McNeil. We don't need another left sided winger anyway with Barnes.

I'm undecided mate if I'm honest.

I know, typical Finners being on the fence again. What am I like.

There's an argument we absolutely need a reliable back up to Barnes but given the pitiful options we have on the right wing I'd say its less of a priority than a new right winger.

Burnley rumoured to be about to break their transfer record by spending 15 million on Cornet.

Who plays on the right

Burnley play their wingers on the correct side to get crosses in

Gudmunsson plays on the right, he's left footed.

He's left footed, played nearly all of last season on the left where he's increasingly been converted in to a left back / left wing back.

Bit like Moses under Conte. He's not really good enough for Lyon as a winger but he got a solid run in the side when moved back a bit.

Before that he used to alternate covering on either the right or left wing wherever they needed him. He's fairly comfortable either side but just not that good.

Cornet? I rate him, his stats were off the scale in 2018/19 and 2019/20.

I really hope not. Getting rid of a proven prem number 10 and replacing them with someone who has hardly ever played that position would be absolute nonsense.

No thanks, he is absolute trash!

Also, it's irritating watching players that are as unbalanced and one footed as him! He plays like he has a large weight hanging off his left bollock (or should that be right)

To be honest, I would rather we sign Jackie Sinclair's grandson.

I like him, for Burnley, but not for us. He's a crossing machine like Albrighton. He suits Burnley for that.

His assist record is horrific when you consider what he has to aim at and what the game plan is.

16 assists from 631 crosses and 2626 passes, he is a complete fraud tbh.

Better player then a few posters are making out only 21 and to 109 PL games is pretty impressive, bearing in mind Barnes is 23 and only has 81.

Remember him give Riccardo the run around when we lost 2-1  away in 19/20 season.

To be far he plays in a Burnley side that is ultra defensive and only scored 33 goals last season.

We want someone who plays on the right, has a bit of pace about them and scores goals. The solution to that is not signing a player who plays almost exclusively on the left, runs through treacle and averages about two goals a season.
