I don't want to turn into full Keegan here but I would love it if we could win a European Trophy.

Favourites to win it. What a time we live in. Just remember that when we're 0-1 down to Preston in 10 years time lol

How long ago was that night when we had 4 offside goals in the last few mins while 1-0 down to Preston?

We're the favourites according to British bookies. I won't pretend to understand any of this, but i've always been under the impression that, to an extent, these things are driven in part by the volume of bets placed on each team. Fans in England are more likely to back Leicester or West Ham, so they're likely to have slightly shorter odds than they will at foreign bookies.

It would be interesting to see if we're also amongst the favourites at overseas bookies

Just been on the Napoli forum. They seem very respectful of us. I've translated a few posts:

We play first place with Leicester.

For me, at the moment, they are a bit ahead of us for a matter of pace of play and running-in with the coach (they have been the same for a few years and are achieving excellent results with him). Let's see when we will face them if things have changed or not.

----

The fact is that the Europa League, like this, is a truly wonderful competition:

us against Leicester, the group with Leverkusen, Celtic and Betis, the other with Olympiakos, Eintracht and Fenerbahce, the other again with Monaco, PSV and Real Sociedad, Lazio that fishes both OM and Galatasaray: there are many interesting pairings, the prospect is of a very difficult competition.

-----------

Oh my God, but I don't think there are people who really think we're stronger than Leicester.

Who among other things lost the Champions League place on the last day like us, with the debacle of the home game with Tottenham.

However, it would be the same team that has raised two cups in the last 4 months and in the current market has spent almost € 70 million (Daka, Soumaré, Vestergaard plus Bertrand on a free transfer), selling only Ghezzal for € 3 million to Besiktas.

--------------

Sorry to disappoint you, but we are by no means stronger than Leicester. We can finish first and there is no doubt about this. The absolute value of the British, however, is higher guys, let's not joke. They are strong and play very well. They have a well-established playing structure and a great coach.

They are a bit ahead, we should struggle to beat them

From before the draw:

"By eye, it would be enough for me to avoid Leicester."

I think you're right but I think it's helped somewhat by there being such a culture of it in this country as well. I've always had that as my theory to England being slightly underpriced in tournaments.

It's a slight con because of the CL dropouts. We could get 18 points in our group and we'd likely stop being favourites after it.

That they consider themselves of champions league quality

And us /Napoli  - it’s not even a back handed compliment .  It’s a straight compliment …….

a group with Spartak (Russian champions of 16/17 so seeded in 17/18) and Napoli (pot 2 ?)  could have been a CL group in recent years. We are worthy of pot 3.  there have been CL groups over the past few seasons that were weaker than the EL group we are in
