The line-up for personnel sake isn't what concerns me, it's that the lack of change indicating we will insist with this slow, monotonous playing around the back and causing our own problems. We were fortunate against Wolves, and we paid the price against West Ham, I can't see enough changing in 5 days to be convincing enough.

Early days I know, but really feel like this is a pivotal game for us. After an indifferent performance against Wolves and an abject one against West Ham we must seek to impose our superiority on an inferior Norwich team low on confidence. A win will see us in the top third and provide an excellent platform on which to build. Anything less and negative pressure will begin to mount.

I have a theory about this. Maybe Bertrand was on the bench/starting started to feel unwell and the only person who travelled was Jakupovic. We always take three keepers.

They are all central forwards, makes it hard to get them in, although its impossible if Vardy is going to continue to start no matter what. Daka with Iheanacho behind could work, but Maddison will need dropping. At least one of these should have happened by now.

Maybe, they tend to take an extra outfield player too as cover though. Must mean benkovic is off before Tuesday

for me Nacho should be first forward on the team sheet then you use Vardy or Daka as the main Striker with Nacho in behind...

Cags needs to man up big time. He can’t always have a mentor next to him. It’s time he showed what he’s learnt and lead. Speak up for god sake! Make sure amartay doesn’t play any suicide passes to pukeepie. On the other end some goals please. Quick incisive passing please no farting around endlessly with the ball. Everyone should be switched on for this.

As I said after Monday the best way of describing our situation/Brendan at the moment is "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

 

Besides is there any point in playing attacking players if all we're going to do is control posession by exclusively passing between our CB's.
