Because I like Webbo and didn't want him feeling left out.

Didn't he once play Harry Kane on the left wing?

He certainly did.  Put Kane and Vardy on the bench for the Watford play off game too.  To be fair, Pearson did alot of good for the club, bringing us back from the old third division and laying some foundations to what followed him, but i don`t rate him as even close to being our best ever manager.

Still get goosebumps every time I think of him. Never felt as connected to this club as I did during the time Nige was in charge.

It`s funny though, he split the fan base didn`t he, and still does even today.  Very Marmite is Pearson.

You get goosebumps, but i just never took to him at all, although i can appreciate that he done good things for the club.

What sometimes goes missing, underrated is that under his tenure which was X 2,with in put & ideas from himself,

he probably built the best Backroom-staff unit/group this Club ever had.....Scouts, medical, Coaching Plus other areas...

Then quite crazily, our most successfull, sublime manager Ranieri,  crazily, damning-arrogantly,incompently, no forethought ,

took it apart, and set us back some years.

Preferred Not the Good Italian modern-methods, But an older-Worn-out & old Fashioned  Italian method...Which helped to Seal his & our fate.

I wonder even now,if we had kept that so successful ( admired from our peers) backroom-staff Set up & organisation,

if it would of allowed/helped us to see Ranieri carry & Ride on his success with our club, and we wouldnt have seen Firstly Drinkwaters,Kings,Vardys injury Problem or our chronic-injury crisis of our last 2 seasons...???

He had Kane and Vardy both in the championship and played them on the wings. He's so tactically advanced in his thinking that us mortals can't comprehend the genius of it.

Martin O’Neil easily the best City manager in my lifetime.
Pearson did great to get us up, but the great escape season was basically a shambles

Ranieri took Pearson’s squad at exactly the right time, made a few tweaks and it worked. Then it went to pieces with him spending huge amounts on rubbish

Brendan has done lots of good but his tactics are sometimes baffling

O’Neil with Lennon, Izzett, Walshy etc just did an amazing job. I loved the man

Can we have a "Pearson Not even in the top 5 best ever Leicester manager" option please?

We already have that, it’s called the unpopular opinions thread

Ranieri made a few tweaks? Is a huge disservice to the Don You do realise we finished 14th the previous season…

What we achieved was simply out of this world, Ranieri produced a miracle which makes him the best manager in our history hands down.

Yes it was, there’s no denying

But he did have the nucleus of a very established squad.

I think Ranners left them to it to some extent, added his own amount of frivolity and off we went.

It was also a season where ‘the big guns’ weren’t at their best either. There was no clear ‘top four’ that season

I’m not putting Ranieri down. It was a miracle, but I think he inherited a good squad that Nigel had built and would have done better in that second season in the Prem anyway

O’Neil built his squad up, added exactly the right players and maintained great finishes in the Prem with not huge amounts of money
