I can't figure it.

The odd ocassions I've seen him play, he hasn't looked that bad. Perhaps not the most dynamic of players, but a composed air about him.  Did alright at Celtic - the SP isn't that sh*t surely? (Don't answer that) Loan deals after that seem to have backfired on him. The reputation/image the guy must now have makes it near on impossible to sell him. He must be damn near rock bottom.

There's a story there methinks, whether we'll ever here it is another matter.  I hope some club takes a punt of him today, and he can maybe hit the reset button.

I agree. It’s slightly odd and reaks of off the field issues.

I only have one Foxestalk poster on ignore. Checking back to who you are reacting to, I was not surprised.

I have seriously been considering making them my first as well.

From memory, the Bristol City fans were mostly impressed by him in the glimpses they got and couldn't work out why he wasn't played more given how poor they were last season.

Something else is very wrong with the lad if a succession of managers won't play him when fit. It's difficult to see where he goes from here or even if another club will take him on. Perhaps the club will call it quits and mutually pay up his contract?

I can only assume he has a fetish for female club staff. Now that we have a full pro female team BR can't take his eyes off of is crotch and is ashamed of himself! 🤔.

In all seriousness it was said at the time when we brought BR down from Celtic that Benko would never make it in the PL as he is physically too weak and not quick enough and BR spoke about the need for him to tone up a bit. It was apparent from that moment forward that he would never make the first team but coupled with injuries every time he was loaned put just meant we were never in a position to sell him.

Brenders would rather put 2 goalkeepers on the bench than include Benko, despite the fact if soy or marters picked up an injury we'd be royally ****ed. He needs to get out while he can.

You need a nickname for Amartey.

It's even weirder that he's been frozen out by Rodgers, who he played under and seemed to rate him for Celtic. I think with the state we're in at the minute defensively, he's got to be worth a spot on the bench at the very least?!

I rate my car for getting me to work, but if I needed compete in a F1 race I would'nt think its was good enough.

How you rate something is relevant to what you are using it for.

Do we reckon we kept him for emergency use? Obviously Fofana is out for the season, Evans has injury issues and Vestegaard might end up having problems too. If Amartey or Cags get injured for a few weeks we'd be using Ndidi there for a number of games. Has Benko been kept purely if this scenario occurs? There's gotta be a reason even Championship clubs aren't after him, or even foreign clubs in ok leagues, will he not move or will they just not the pay the wages he's on? So weird.

I suspect the presence of Soumare means if Dan or Cags went down "next man up" would be Ndidi at CB.  I agree Benkovic hasn't looked that bad and there's something odd behind his status, but the reason he's still here is likely that there was simply no one who would take him.

I'll tell you this , when Benko finally escapes he won't have a good word to say about us. We have kept him hanging on for years , it has been a nightmare for him.

Probably. But a guy who cannot get playing time in a Sunday league complaining he didn't get to play CB for Leicester... Idk if that makes a blip on anyone's radar.

He doesn't have a big contract , so pay him up and let him go. He will surely find a club somewhere.

Too late now, wouldn’t be able to join a new club until January

Why would the club want to that?

They are a business not a charity
