He's lower level championship AT BEST!

He did OK without the ball first half. Not top notch but he tried.

I don’t think anyone is blaming anything on him because that’s not the case. 
But I just can’t understand how people can possibly think he had a good game, made the odd interception and that was about it.

Sometimes we are out of form.... sometimes we are in form. Injury in defense obviously a factor but swings and roundabouts we'll probably end up around fifth at the end of the season.

Why anyone on here is criticising Hamza I’ll never know. He was absolutely superb. He battled and pressed them like crazy, won several tackles and generally made a nuisance of himself. He even went from CDM to ring winger at one point which was brilliant. 
 

You need to give up on football if you can’t see that he had a good game.

I haven’t claimed he had a good game, I just don’t think he was any worse than anyone else. Feels like some people come into games seeing what they expect to see rather than what actually happens. 
 

He isn’t Tielemans, he’s not gonna be our playmaker. But what he does do, he did well

today. Just the way I saw it.

He had good energy and yes he did press well at times but was really poor on the ball. Superb? Really? 

 

Benefit of doubt because it might be Rodgers instructions but for a defensive midfielder he was never in front of the back 4. Like a child following the ball at times.

I can't understand why some on here have got it in for Choudhury.  He's been given hardly any minutes over the last year so you could hardly expect him to be fully fit or sharp or confident, yet thrown into a crucial role he performed very well.

 

You may say that's a matter of opinion, but what's a matter of fact is: 60 mins with Choudhury - 2-0 to us; 30 mins without Choudhury - 2-0 to them.  Another fact is that he stifled them fairly well down their left side, but when he comes off they score 2 goals from crosses on their left flank.
