Christ almighty this thread is full of a lot of irrational over the top comments this afternoon.....saying Rodgers needs to go 😆 claiming something is wrong!?! We've just come away with a well fought draw against a pumped up Leeds side desperate for points...give your heads a wobble....we all know we're not in the same form as the past couple of seasons but it was always gonna be difficult to maintain that level season on season....tons of the season left to go and still only 2 points off 6th....we are where we are because we're not good enough to be any higher....constant injuries to key players has taken its toll...simple as

Nah get out of here with your level headed takes, this is FoxesTalk

A non-existent reaction doesn't see us get back in to the game straight after they score, I'm sorry.

Sorry, when I meant Non-existent reaction I was referring to our glaring shortcomings which have been evident for most of the season. Some far longer than that. Even today, we miss a front post header and the back post man is unmarked. A bit of composure and Leeds are 2-1 up.

Look, I’m not saying Brendan is all to blame for this. The players also seem to lack leadership (something a lot have been saying for months) but these things keep cropping up. It’s frustrating.

This absolutely shows what clowns 🤡 our fan base has become deluded or what? We have had a few great seasons this season teams know how to play us so this ‘mob ‘ are actually quite decent and we are very mid table. We need the boss to come up with plan B

And Leeds are where?

And Trincao, and Bailey and Madueke Any more?

Ziyech?

These are all names, as suggested, that many people on here were desperate to get in. Firstly it perhaps shows that our recruitment team had perhaps looked at and rightly discounted them, it is their full time professional job after all. Secondly, there clearly aren't that many Marhez's in the world, hence Manchester City were desperate to get him. Lastly, best not spend at if you can't spend wisely.

Glad not to lose that after their onslaught after HT.

Should have won after they got tired and our change. Shame Youri got injured as I think Daka or Iheanacho would have come on.

At least we weren't passive or slow or ponderous when on the ball though. This game suited us but we should have done better keeping the ball.

Quality goal from Barnes and a great response to conceding probably the best thing about the game.

Not joining the calls  for Rodgers to go. Nowhere near that

Great Response from Leicester to score straight after conceding and then holding on shame obviously that they didn't get a goal but a draw is better than a loss any day

Anyway, international break coming up, if we're lucky Youri's knock isnt too bad and he'll get a bit of rest from the Belgian side. JJ is set to come back after as well, however I'd be weary of putting crazy expectations on him, though I'd happily let myself be surprised. Hope we get to use these 1.5/2 weeks to work on the stuff that's been going wrong.

Our defense was absolutely shocking from the start of the season but we seemed to have somewhat steadied the ship, our attack is capable of scoring if given the opportunity. We just need to get the creative and passing department firing on all cylinders.

4 points behind us. The same amount of points that would have us in sixth place tonight.

His twitter rants over the last few days have been bizarre to say the least.

Yet another parallel we can draw back with when Puel was here he went through a similar ranty stage, supporting and agreeing with everything that was going on not allowing anyone to criticise or question things. We're just knuckle dragging fans who have never played the game seems to be his mantra.

The epitomy of a happy clapper.

He doesn't want to get the elbow like Youngie that's all.

I say they'll do extra work on the defending in training over the international break good job though scoring straight after conceding I love that 😃

Really poor again, although I do actually think the back four and Ndidi defended better than they have done for most of the season. The problem was we couldn't hold the ball in midfield or up front and the ball just kept coming back at us. We look bereft of confidence and like we don't know what we're expected to be doing, which is baffling considering it was a strong team and Rodgers has been here nearly three years.

Can someone explain to me why the ref didn't do anything about that foul on vardy first half and instead ruled it offside

a) it wasn't conclusive that Lookman didn't touch it (and the offside would then have been first offence) and

b) vardy ran into the defender (as he does quite a lot) on purpose then threw himself down. Wasn't a foul.

Didn’t see the game today ,But from what I’m reading it appears that there is more going on behind closed doors than we realise,  Think that Brendan may well go and maybe the players have picked up on this , That could be why the effort is not there from the players .

Its possible that a new face in charge is needed to re light that hunger and passion that’s needed to be successful.

Poor passing. 71%

If we're going to play a passing game we've got to learn how to pass to a team player not the opposition, out of play or no man's land.

Awful today and many previous games.

We're not going to beat teams with those stats.

I don't think the effort was the problem but the quality of the Football.

Incredibly, they are not supposed to be picking up any specific players.

We're playing "zonal" defense, meaning players defend specific space and not players. Welcome to "modern" football. :ill:

I get that but it's not just set pieces, and as for zonal you are supposed to attack the space but we don't seem to have a clue, soyuncu is the worst, just standing doing nothing, he clearly doesn't get it

There's a song by a band (DMA's) I love who I'm going to see tomorrow night called Step Up The Morphine and I think we should sing it at our games but not change any of the words. Pass me the smack.

Still mental that we are only 2 points off 6th...

Shows that a turn in form, can see you climb quite quickly.

As long as our vulnerability at set pieces persists - and the flat-footedness caused by zonal marking (which includes our static goalkeeper) is the essence of the problem - our ambitions will not be met.
