Draw fair result apart from equalizer felt our first half was pretty dull. Just didnt pile any pressure on Leeds on what so ever. Second half felt we did start to grow in the game but just not enough to say we actually deserved a victory.

Still mental that we are only 2 points off 6th...

Tends to be quite tight first quarter of the season and it's why ambitious teams who are inconsistent have to get it right very quickly from here on in otherwise the season is over.right now, for all our erratic defending and general sluggish football, we theoretically still have a reasonable opportunity to try and nab a top 6 spot and EL again. However, very few teams markedly improve at this level when been in a rut for the best part of half a season (spanning 2 seasons), so whilst we aren't completely done for this season, it would take a significant shift in performance and mentality from everyone to still be within a win of the top 6 come the business end of the season.

It will require around 45-50 points from the remaining 27 games which is a points per game average we've not been anywhere near since February.

We look every bit a mid table team and that's likely to be what we end up as come May.

Agree

We have to rotate Vardy & Tielemans more..Keep them fresh & motivated within their own game.

Players then like Daka,Nacho, KDH, plus returnees get decent game time and become automatically part of Leicester bigger picture...

Why do we need to rotate them. Salah and Mane seem to play virtually every game and still look fresher than our lads

Outplayed by a team where I wouldn't want for one of their players in our side. How bad can it get?

Rafinha is several levels better than any of our right wing options but agree otherwise.

As for the game, Leeds just looked better coached and more motivated. What has happened to our passing and movement?

Christ almighty this thread is full of a lot of irrational over the top comments this afternoon.....saying Rodgers needs to go 😆 claiming something is wrong!?! We've just come away with a well fought draw against a pumped up Leeds side desperate for points...give your heads a wobble....we all know we're not in the same form as the past couple of seasons but it was always gonna be difficult to maintain that level season on season....tons of the season left to go and still only 2 points off 6th....we are where we are because we're not good enough to be any higher....constant injuries to key players has taken its toll...simple as

Well said ..

and tickled with your tickling-stick.

We are not Manutd who's name means they can throw doubts over their managers..

Yes Rodgers like all has to stand up & be counted..but from my perspective ,he shows he knows it ain't quite ticking, that we have basic defensive issues, from players who in the past have delivered. He's at least not running & blind to the problems, and is trying to change things...

I really do believe this team lack of form is down to the players..

Our quality star players.

Selection/ formation totally irrelevant .

Positives that going into festive season

Ricardo, Barnes, Maddison, Ndidi, are slowly finding their higher touch performance..but still behind.

Negatives..Our star player Tielemans even with deft & class moments isn't

Performing at a 75-90 minute high level for a man of his quality, he doesn't have

to be panic-marked from the oppo.

Vardy/Nacho are not being asked or forced to do their duty from within the game day front 6.

And has mentioned in another post we are missing an hard bastard with skill,

Not an aggressive moaner- chiaua, but a doberman- kick ya- ass..

Oppo & own players..!!

Evans return hasn't settled our defensive frailties..

Comical..2 years ago it was he and Soyu, who took us to those great early season hard to break defence routines.

Even with his injuries, Soyuncu held the

Fort...What's gone amiss..:dunno:

And even more comical..I actual think

in retrospect we missed Perez breaking

their midfield drives, and taking those

odd runs at their backline..

Leeds..C.Palace..Brighton..have done a Leicester on us this season..!!

Arsenal, W.Ham are moving into our

Block of flats > deservedly<

And I don't fking like it...

I still believe with conviction that Rodgers is our man,

and can & will turn it..!!..

I wonder if they are two of the countless players in Liverpool's squad who suffer from asthma.

Pathetic. Who do we get in that better than him right now?

Wishing him to go is just stupid.

If you dont think there is a manager out there who can get a tune out of this squad I think your deluded. Rodgers is a good manager but it’s clear for quite a while that we are regressing and we have no identity.

It wasn't pretty today I'll admit, but it was nowhere near the worst we've played.

We were completely bossed off the field by a team just above the relegation zone.

Because they too have had their time outs last season, plus they are a completer squad who's completed and reached their consistent  phases.

We are still at aspiration levels.

It’s been 30 plus matches since Slavia Prague match , bar the odd game we have not played well, if it’s down the players lack of form, that’s hell of a long time to not be performing.

Did we defend better Col? Our defending from set pieces in particular is comical. We benefited from Leeds being extremely wasteful

We limited them to very few clear cut chances mate. But I do agree, Leeds finishing was not the best.

Nobody after 11 games, from bottom 6

can be pushed into automatic relegation fodder and can't be used to measure what games we judge as must wind..A point at Leeds is positive, our own performance within is

the major issue..not the opposition's game or league position in early November..

Yes it is..but it's there in front of us,our wanna be stars ain't yet cutting it..

We ain't jelling ,because too many individuals have not brought their expected quality game consistently to the table...

We can create stories over Rodgers, but

Tielemans young career was filled with doubts how he drifts out of games &

Top European clubs didn't see the need

To pick up his number..

Etc..etc for others we WANT to adore.

Though I still believe the injuries across the board, was still one of the major factors that threw us off tact, but not only the mitigating issue that derailed us...

One other ( IMHO) we have never yet been as a complete squad as some fans have placed us.

But like many point out ( including perpetual whiners)  We have to now pick ourselves out of the Maier..

Rodgers has to put this train back on the rails, to get us performing ,& competing again.. I just believe he should be warranted more time & patience..even now when it stings the most...

As an aside - bollocks to Sky Sports. Paid up for Season ticket, Sky Sports, Amazon Prime and BT Sports, and the only option is a dodgy stream, because Sky are showing Arsenal vs Watford, which could easily have been played on Saturday as neither team is in Europe. Then the pissing thing starts buffering when you are are trying to defend a corner in stoppage time.

This for me too. How many Sky Sports channels are there and they still can't show our game? They're the TV equivalent

of Dick Turpin.

We can't beat a deep block defense or a high press with a high defensive line.....

Need a lot of time on the training ground to improve. We are really struggling at the moment and can't see us getting a result anywhere

.. probably spending too much time on the training ground!!!

Need to get away from it all, players need to be with themselves, no coaches or managers involved. This will be a complete reset.

Poor passing. 71%

If we're going to play a passing game we've got to learn how to pass to a team player not the opposition, out of play or no man's land.

Awful today and many previous games.

We're not going to beat teams with those stats.

This is what I recognised from the game. It was diabolical the amount of times we gave the ball away when not under pressure.

We played so bad but still had a chance of winning the game so I suppose that’s a positive.

Let’s face it Leeds are a really hard working team but they don’t have that much quality in the squad. We should be doing much better against teams like this.

I want in January us to buy a real bastard, with strong mental & game skills..

The squad has been crying out for a real bastard - possibly since Drinkwater went. The team are far too passive - they need geeing up by someone on the field - someone to remind the opposition and certain team mates that winning takes resolve and fight. Maybe it's just too comfortable to be a professional player these days.
