Lookman was decent, and the fact that he was decent in that first half when absolutely everything and everyone else was utter dross makes him MOTM for me by default.

Albrighton put the effort in but he's not a wing-back. Castagne was awful, Soumare was AWOL in the first half. Amartey had a decent game but that was our worst display under Rodgers by a mile. Passive, total lack of pressing and aggression. The players look comfortable with losing.

Oh I’m sorry Lookman was awful he had a couple of bits of good play but rest 9f time was dreadful

In fairness to Castagne, he's a right fullback with the ability to occasionally cover on the left. He is not a left wing back and never will be so don't judge him so much as the utter numpty who not only put him there but also tried to stick him at centre half when we had viable alternatives. Against the team at the top of the table, Rodgers today fielded Albrighton, Castagne, Soyuncu and even Soumare in not their most favourable roles or positions. You really can't get away with that at this level. When you initially see Ndidi and Soumare in a midfield two at the start of the game, how many could not predict we would be overrun? Time after time it happens now.

Lookman has a lot of ability but is brainless. Today and against Leeds he has been looking across the backline of the defence and stood at least a yard offside. Put the ball in the net both times and looked amazed that he was offside. Does he not understand the rules !
