Lookman fairly fortunate to get the start; but he does seem to be well in favour at the moment. I suppose there really isn't much competition for a place in that position.

Perez looks better in Maddison’s role of the bench and that leaves us with mark, who hasn’t had more than a couple of games there this season. Definitely an area to consider in jan

Just seen Burnley v Spurs off? Was that for a bit of snow? Shameful for an established PL outfit. Should be fined, in my opinion.

The Anfield groundsmen could surely have popped over and cleared at least half the pitch for them...

I reckon we see Ndidi score again today. Just got a feeling about it.

I’m very much a betting man, you may be The People’s Hero, but this afternoon you could potentially be ScrumpyJack’s Hero.

Disagree.  I think Vardy is better on his own.  Playing two up front was good for Nacho, but it seemed to take the edge from Vardy.

Hes too easy to mark out the game on his own when they just double up on him.

I find Ndidi and Soumare both similar in respects of being defensively minded players - Not really sure we need both of them when someone like KDH might offer a bit more in the attacking sense. Watford won't be mugs, they are more than capable of causing us problems, but realistically, we should be beating them - Comfortably.

This is the kind of game where Vardy will win a penalty against a clumsy defender of goalkeeper who he's far too sharp for.

On their current form Iheanacho would make more impact than 3 of that starting 11

Depends if we get the version of Nacho who is prepared to break a sweat and can control a ball, or the version who has a nice walk/jog, ensures he is marked the entire game and having a nice chat with his opponent and controls the ball further than I can kick it.

Vardy has so much to prove doesn’t he, what an imposter starting up front for us

Very harsh! The guy was only saying he thought Daka maybe would/should start, looking at his recent form it's an understandable opinion. Less to do with Vardy and more to do with Daka

Not sure lookman did enough to warrant another start in the last couple of games, especially defensively. However, happy as larry brendans finally thrown in the towel and realised we’ve been too negative as of late

Agree lookman was poor against Legia

As long as we press and put pressure on their Championship standard defence, then we should be alright.

They have shown they can score goals without Sarr though, and if their midfield performs like it did against United, get ready for a physical battle.

Vardy is due one. Shame KDH doesn't start but I guess Soumare gets another chance. Praying for a clean sheet and would accept a 1-0 today but, as usual, not hopeful. C'mon lads do it for us!!!!

A win today could lift us four places above Man U.  It would also be our 200th Premier League win.

From the BBC website:

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

  • Leicester have won seven of the 12 Premier League meetings (D2, L3).
  • The Foxes have won all six of their home Premier League matches against the Hornets by an aggregate score of 12-1.
  • Watford have never kept a clean sheet against Leicester in a record 20 top-flight meetings.

Leicester City

  • Leicester could lose three consecutive home league games without scoring for the first time since 1983.
  • The Foxes could set an unwanted club record of nine top-flight home defeats in a calendar year.
  • Brendan Rodgers' side have kept just one clean sheet in their last 18 Premier League matches.
  • Their next victory in the Premier League will be their 200th in the competition.
  • Jamie Vardy has scored three penalties in his last three home league appearances against Watford.

Watford

  • Watford failed to score in their seven defeats so far this campaign but have managed 16 goals in their five other league games.
  • They are currently on a club top-flight record run of 22 games without a clean sheet.
  • Should he score this weekend, Emmanuel Dennis would become just the sixth player to reach five goals and five assists in 12 or fewer Premier League appearances, emulating Eric Cantona, Jurgen Klinsmann, Arjen Robben, Andrey Arshavin and Bruno Fernandes.
  • The Nigerian has been involved in six of Watford's last seven league goals, scoring two and setting up four.

No it could lift us 4 places up the and above Man U? Unless that’s what you meant x

Yes, that's what I meant.  I didn't mean four places above man U.  Badly worded and lacking in commas.  lol
