Kinowe Soorie Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 KDH has got lots of energy, and doing a great job in pressing. Soumare looks like a defender playing central mid. I think I’d convert him into a centre back, would probably do a better job.
theessexfox Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Pretty poor half and disgraceful pen but a win will do, however it comes
baldeagle Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Bit of a scrappy game . But I’d gladly take a scrappy 1-0 win if it means we keep a clean sheet 3
Vacamion Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Youri didn't do much for the first 35 mins, then he did everything. Soft, soft pen that I would be really angry about if it was given against us. For a re-jigged formation, so far so good.
Tielemans63 Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Now we absolutely cannot start the second half like we did at Villa Park. Absolutely crucial. 2

Hales Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 That penalty and clean sheet have really lifted them. You could see it with Youri definitely! Come out fighting the second half and keeping a clean sheet would be massive for them. Come on Leicester!!!!! 1

Scotch Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Definately look to have made a change with defending set pieces. Our CBs going man to man and some of the smaller players picking up a zone? Not sure exactly what it is or if it'll work but at least we are TRYING something different. 1

Tielemans nearly wasted a chance to play on KDH for a clear shot by shouting. But he probably influenced the ref to give the penalty.
sishades Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Just watched the pen decision.....oh dear! It is a clear dive, but who fecking cares.
Hales Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Who cares if it's a penalty or not! I'll take it 😊 glad to see Youri demanding a penalty like Ronaldo 😊
Jonezy Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Disgusting dive by Maddison. Can't believe the penalty stood. KDH and Thomas doing well and putting in the effort. We need to get Castagne more involved when attacking; he is completely free constantly. Lot of effort today, not so much quality. We can grind this.
Vacamion Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Yeah, it's a dive. And it's giving Souness an excuse to want it to be 1986 again 1
Kinowe Soorie Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 I was told as a young lad, don’t dive in. Yeah the penalty is soft, but he made a rod for his own back. 1

No. He was not even tripped. Maddison jumped onto his leg. He was already airborne when he touched the defender’s leg. Edited 12 December 2021 by Tom12345 1
Dahnsouff Posted 12 December 2021 Posted 12 December 2021 Vardy would have been, “Just like that lad” to Maddison. 2
