Occasionally, they fluff their lines at home when expected to win easily. If it's 0-0 at HT, then we might sneak a draw or even a narrow win. If they're ahead or behind at HT, we'll stand no chance of even a point. Put the bottle down, mate, not even midday yet! 3
NasPb Posted 26 December 2021 Posted 26 December 2021 I reckon we could get a point or lose 2-1, these lot ain't that good 2
Ric Flair Posted 26 December 2021 Posted 26 December 2021 This is essentially an FA Cup game and we're back in the Championship away to the reigning PL champions and we're resting a couple of key players. 1

justfoxes Posted 26 December 2021 Posted 26 December 2021 (edited) I’ve got a feeling we'll win this one today just a hunch but will be sitting down with a few beers willing the lads to give us one hell of a performance! But more than likely be disappointed in our performance and will need the beer to drown the sorrows ?🤯 COYF 💙🦊 Edited 26 December 2021 by justfoxes 1
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 26 December 2021 Posted 26 December 2021 I've got no expectation for this game except for a comfortable defeat, so I'm actually remarkably chilled about it. Our only hope is if Grealish and Foden took the rest of their teammates out on the lash last night.

RowlattsFox Posted 26 December 2021 Posted 26 December 2021 I know we are all pretty miserable about the thought of this but I hope the players go out with at least a little bit more belief I think we will score first, get excited and then go on to lose 5 or 6-1 Only hope is that Man City take it easy once a couple of goals up and just pass it around.

An Sionnach Posted 26 December 2021 Posted 26 December 2021 If we lose 1or2 nil that would be a form result. If we do though, for some, it will all be Rodgers's fault and he should go. As long as we go head to head with them and play with respect I will be happy.

I think the original discussion point was that if Manchester City lose 4 first teamers to covid and say Leicester lose 4 first teamers to covid, then it has a significantly larger impact on us - therefore being in man Citys interest not to cancel.
