It's not just the training ground, our injuries under him were quote prolific prior to us moving in there so I'm more inclined to look at that and also his track record at others clubs which is bad and the common denominator is Rodgers and his training methods.

what are his methods?  The players rock up each week as it they are meeting for the first time. (Except kevin, who always picks out vardy)

Hard to see past anything but an extremely heavy defeat. Even if we just pack the defence and basically don't go in their half with our defence we will still let in at least 5 in my opinion.

Wonder how many more injuries we will pick up in the match itself.

IF the team is the team I've been told then there could be a new record today in the PL.

Schmeichel

Albrighton

Amartey

Vestegaard

Thomas

Soumare

KdH

Maddison

Lookman

Iheanacho

Perez

I really really hope it's wrong

Yeah this has been widely circulated so more than likely this will be it.

We're litteraly defending our own record here.

Yeah that line up doesn't do much in the way of hope at all. Cos that's all we really have right now anyway lol

We might create a few opportunities but that's probably about as good as it gets.

We haven’t failed to score in our last 15 Premier League away games.

Nor have we kept a clean sheet in any of those 15 games.

I wonder which of those two runs is favourite to end today…

So it could be 11-1?

Not even any pace up front to try to catch them on the break. Dear God, this is just too awful to contemplate. I wouldn't fancy that team to beat Stevenage away in the Cup, let alone Man City away.

Where's Wilf?? Didn't think he was supposed to be unavailable?

On the bright side there is no Bertrand at least!

A bit gutted I'm out for a meal and won't be able to watch this one.

Reckon it will be a right laugh. Hope Kasper packs his back brace, he'll need it the amount of times he'll be picking the ball out of his net.

Manchester City haven't dropped any PL points since October, so maybe today could be the day. Occasionally, they fluff their lines at home when expected to win easily. If it's 0-0 at HT, then we might sneak a draw or even a narrow win. If they're ahead or behind at HT, we'll stand no chance of even a point.

The annoying thing is that even the reserve midfield/ attack doesn't look too bad really. And a defence with international players like Vestergaard shouldn't be the shambles that it is likely to be.

Any side we put out should be competitive, even against top sides.

my view this game is nearly unwinnable

So throw in half the 23's and just get it over with

goal difference isnt a huge deal the lads are not getting relegated
