Anybody know why we do it? as all I see is our players slipping over.

Surely the players know what the ground staff do so why not wear appropriate footwear instead of the slippers they all seem to trot about in?

We’ve made the same comment in the second half of the last two games. God knows what the ground staff are playing at!

How it’s controlled is decent though. It’s a bloke going round the pitch switching each hose on via an app on his phone. Funny if his mum calls him during the game and he accidentally sprays them all on

NOT a big fan of wet pitches.. also less control on the ball.

A few  big clubs don't even do it.

Who is the knob_scientist in LCFC dictating this b.s.

I have seen us water the pitch when it's been pouring down.  Is it some kind of ritual washing thing?

yeah Buddhist Temple Spring water from Thailand... supposed to be good luck charms - but it clearly is not working.

...a slick surface allows us to zip the ball around better!!!

For the type of football we want to play it makes sense. However we did seem to have an issue where the drainage appeared not to be as good as it should be, so there could be the possibility of excess water in some areas.
