Twist top. Press the eject button as no matter what he does it isn't going to get any better. Still basic errors throughout from the players and manager. Van Dyke allowed to stand unmarked from a corner 2-3 times and the obligatory set piece conceded. Moyes usually has Brendan on toast tactically so expect another crapper Sunday too.

That's the third time we've played these in our last 8 games. Bloody glad that we won't have to play them again this season. As for the game, I felt that we got into so many good positions 25 yards out and then botched the pass.

It was rubbish. Yes it was Liverpool but we didn’t throw a punch.

Going to be completely against the grain and say that was decent.

Those tactics are similar to what we beat them with in December and it’s the type of tactics what’s seen the likes of Palace win there before. The problem is you pretty much have to be perfect for it come off.

The players who started indefinitely playing for the manager.

We’d have beaten most PL teams with the same desire and application.

I actually thought the first half was alright, we were relatively compact and they didn’t have a lot of chances before they scored.

But once you go behind you have to make an effort to get back in the game and we didn’t. In fact playing the same way, making like-for-like substitutions, made things better rather than worse and Schmeichel was our MOTM by a distance.

I don't think Vardy would have done anything tonight anyway as savage is suggesting. We have a problem with wingers and full backs not overlapping hence giving more space to the midfielders to push up. We aren't aggressive enough against the opposition when they have the ball. What was the plan tonight?

So so scared to even go out and try to get a result, its like we were just waiting to get beat by 2 or 3.

I miss the days of us giving it a go, how the fvck has it come to being envious of how Brighton and Southampton play ffs

Effort was there but needed Schmeichel to keep the score down. Thankfully Salah didn't play the 90 as well.

Rodgers just hoped to stay in the game at 1-0 and try and sneak a goal on the break, rather than put any pressure on.

Sure we didn't lose by a bucket load but let's be honest, Liverpool looked like they were having a kick about on the park.

No disputing that, but Christ my expectations were so low that, that felt like we just earned 3 points. lol

We're only away from a relegation battle on games in hand. Looking increasingly likely we could lose them. I do worry

I’ve genuinely started to entertain the idea. We’re in free fall, anyone could beat us.

are we mathematically safe to stay up this season ?

I’d say we need 14 points from 17 games.
