General feeling is that outside of the red-zones there isn't a lot going on. Just seems like a 'windy day'.

I'm outside the red zone and it's blowy as ****.

Picking up a bit in hinckley. Next doors roof has been crumbling for a few weeks and ending up on our drive so looking forward to that. They told us ages ago they were getting it sorted but nothing yet. Kittens are shit scared which is fun.

Barely anything in Town. Can remember several days this year alone that have been gustier.

Lost a bit of the side fence here, 3 nine foot panels gone and fence posts snapped off.

One of the posts fell against a widow pane, but didn’t break it. Which was surprisingly fortunate.

Assume I can get a new fence via insurance (?).

I'm not sure all home insurance policies pay out for fence/gate damage if caused by a storm.

I think fences are not usually covered by insurance, unfortunately

is it wrong that this made me laugh out loud?

Me too, instantly felt bad lol

To be fair, I am enjoying people watching out of my office window...as long as no-one gets hurt.

Madness the amount of people even trying to get on the promenade here in Blackpool

UPDATE: The patio table made a beeline for the back gate. Managed to get about five metres before I nipped that straight in the bud.

No garden furniture escaping on my watch.
