Sly Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Defence is suspect, that’s just a given and isn’t even worth discussing at this point. We’ve generated more though and grew into the game after Wolves scored. Daka needs support if we can’t to get him involved.

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Tbf Daka is no more anonymous than Vardy usually is. Hopefully he's got Vardy's knack of scoring out of nowhere.

Stephen Hughes Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Lookman is inconsistent, but there is a player in there. Hands up, I had written him off a few months ago think he has had some poor games. Looks direct today and running at their defence. Daka is isolated and Nacho would suit this formation better. Daka looks like he needs someone up there with him.

His end product is sometimes a bit suspect, but at least he’s direct and wants to get in the box and run at defenders. He’s No Mahrez but he’s not bad. I think his end product is pretty good. Compare him with Gray, for example.
hejammy Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 I actually think Barnes being out has been to our advantage. He's been poor in my opinion for a while. Where as Lookman on the left is clearly his best position. If Barnes played Lookman would have been switched to the right.
HybridFox Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Redknapp sounds surprised about Lookman...in the 3 games he's probably watched of us
Tielemans63 Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Keep playing direct boys, don't let them off the hook
Supergray22 Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Both flanks linking up well. Albrighton with riccardo and Thomas and lookman with kdh and youri giving them triangles to break the lines. Looks good and we get the ball forward safely. Much better. Thomas having a good game again. Some good tackles and crosses into the box. Come on more of the same please. 1

Yeh would have had he not got injured, but he did. For me, possibly Kasper has been the only one that may have been better. Most others have either been injured for long parts of just massively under performed like Cags, Ndidi and Youri.
