Tielemans63 Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Fair play to Brendan, in that final 20 minutes he seems to have ditched the tiki-taka and we've been much more direct and much more threatening as a result. That high ball to Lookman in behind Kilman is bringing us some joy.
sishades Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 I think we are the better side. The boys have done well to take control of the match after going behind so early. Lookman looks mean, Kevin getting in behind their defence and overall the team look keen. Such a shame that our slow starts and awful defence let the side down. 2

Kuredufox Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Good half created more than Wolves who realsitically only ook dangerous at set pieces. 1
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Think our goal shocked Wolves, they weren't expecting us to score....come on Brendan let's attack them
Popular Post foxfanazer Posted 20 February 2022 Popular Post Posted 20 February 2022 It shouldn't go without mentioning the job Albrighton is doing for us at the moment. He's been asked to play in so many roles and he's not letting us down in any of them 9 3
Bazly Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 If we can leave with a point today it'll be a good point. 1

Guest ttfn Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Wolves are still playing the same shit-on-a-stick football as under Nuno. Going without a back 5 and no attacking midfielder against a defence as weak as ours is really negative.
Lesterlad Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 It hit his hand from about 2 inches no way a penalty
Tuna Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 I've been impressed with us going forward, we just have been lacking that potency in front of goal to take the chances before Lookman put that one away, great ball in from Albrighton and excellent pass from Tielemans - who had been very poor prior to that - a very well worked goal. The problem is, still, you are constantly worried about our defending. Also getting really fed up of Sky constantly reading out their stats - Wolves not conceded in open play in how many games? Yeah **** off with that! All to play for second half, we need to get the next goal!
Suzie the Fox Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Really shit to give away a goal, especially so early on AGAIN. But heads didn't drop and that goal just before HT will work wonders for confidence. Playing well so far going forward and can see us getting another, just got to hope they dont.
Chelmofox Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 We've been good to be fair. Taken it to them at home. More possession and more shots. Kept our heads after the goal. Been a bit of needle too and a few cards dished out. Good to see the lads get stuck in. Wolves look like scoring every time they break though. Get Daka off - this doesn't suit him. Time to unleash Kelechi.
jmono84 Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 The last three games I feel Kasper should have made the save. We defo need an upgrade.
StriderHiryu Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 We’ve been the better team. Youri should have scored at 0-0. But the problem is we still look brittle at the back, so really the game could still go either way. Considering we’ve got no Maddison, Barnes, Vardy or Evans we’ve been good. Lookman has been great and not just for his goal. Thomas and KDH making an impact. Maybe Daka is a bit quiet but he’s the type of player that can score anytime. Better performance than I expected TBH. 2 1
Jonezy Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Whoa. Great first half. Very impressed, especially with Lookman. Can we just kidnap the Wolves fitness and medical team. It must be nice to have a settled team. We gave the one of the best defenses in the league at lot of problems. Defensively we still look extremely vulnerable. I kind of like Wolves, but Ait Nouri and Podence are proper c*nts aren't they. Are we sure Ait Nouri is okey after that sniper hit him in the clash with Daka? Still not feeling optimistic with our defence, but impressed with the effort. 1
RowlattsFox Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 We've played pretty well there I reckon but the nervous defending makes us look bad. It's only a matter of time before they score from a set piece. Amarteys desperation not to concede a corner meant he put the header straight in the air. Need to see the danger quicker. On the ball we've been good, Daka bullied a bit but Lookman and Albrighton have done well. Not confident we will win but done alright.
Steve Earle Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Lookman & Tielemans (yes, really) both very good. Need more from Wilf, Daka & KDH. Can see a red card if we’re not super careful… 1

As a main player, not unless we're in the championship, thanks. Might be the worst comparison I've heard, he is absolutely nothing like Mahrez.

Grebfromgrebland Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 We can win this if we stay positive. The question is, will we???
shilton_fox Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Better side for me first half, these are there for the taking (but fully expect a wolves 90+1 winner from a corner)
Jaspa Posted 20 February 2022 Posted 20 February 2022 Podence really shouldn't have booted the ball into Lookman, really seems to have made us more determined now. Bad start, the defence is still a mess, doubt we'll keep them to one, maybe a red card coming though. 1
