Only Leicester can have 3 of the best RBs in the league and have them all out injured at same time, along with their most in-form player.

Leeds have been in awful form themselves though, hence the manager change. Will be interesting to see how they approach the game. We duffed them up 4-1 away during the COVID season playing 5 at the back and countering them with Vardy and Barnes. Not the worst idea to do that again if they keep the suicidal high line and man to man marking Bielsa was infamous for.

Daka benched at the first opportunity I see. This will not end well.

I'm not so sure. I don't think he'd expect to start over a fit Vardy just yet in his LCFC career.

Providing he’s actually 100% fit, Vardy HAS to start. Did you see how quickly Burnley retreated back into their shells on Tuesday after he came on?

Thats not to say Daka shouldn’t start too. But woe betide us setting up to attack at home to a team who’ve conceded more than us.

I am optimistic, probably naively,  that all could be well, possibly, perhaps and maybe.

When we have 7 out injured, and a couple who I don't want to see in the starting 11, it is intriguing to see how we line up.

With the line up we have there are so many possibilities about how we line up.  My optimistic bit just wants it to work.  I have a fear of losing and seeing the comments on FT afterwards.

I wonder if it will be

Schmeichel

Albrighton, Amartey, Soyuncu, Thomas

Choudhury,  Ndidi, KDH

        Tielemans

  Vardy  Barnes

Slightly baffled, surely you would play Albrighton at RB and Lookman on the wing, unless it is a back three?

Why isn't Albrighton at right back and play lookman out wide . Negative again.

Because Albrighton isn't a right back, works hard to cover his side's fullback and provides more than Lookman does. I'd much rather see Albrighton there than Lookman, seeing as he has a footballing brain.

Vardy should be doing the last 30 minutes for the next couple of matches or he will be crocked again. Dakas LCFC career could well be a short one at this rate. No wonder he has looked down in the mouth lately.

Agree, he has shown form but also that he has a lot still to learn to replace Vardy & be a true feared striker. I have seen enough to have confidence this will happen over the next 2 seasons

Has he? Every pic i've seen of him he has been smiling.

He would have known when he came here that his time would be limited, whilst Vardy is still firing like crazy and i'm sure he will get some game time today.

Albrighton has done well at fullback recently.    He is probably  a better right back than Choudhury.

That is not to criticise Choudhury: he will put in a shift wherever he plays

Daka is 23 not 18 and he will take note of what has happened with Iheanacho.

Any chance it could be Amartey at right back, Ndidi centre half and Hamza into DM?

That's even worse than Hamza at RB. In a 433 Hamza would be the central player responsible for starting play through midfield!

For Vardy? I think it's fine.

You have to play the opposition, Vardy needs to start this game but regardless of the score, he needs to come off at 60 minutes, an probably come on at HT on Thursday.

Exactly..  he come on against Burnley and pretty much inspired us to the win. Let’s face it replacing Vardy is going to be a tough ask… I think we will get another couple of seasons with him though

Beckford really is full of shit. He's sat there like he was a Leicester legend or something.

Says Daka has good hold up play but a poor goal threat.....may as well say he's never watched Daka play before!

It is clear he had never seen him play, hopefully he can learn from Vardy and prove to be the man we need for when Vardy retires
