They are like Rennes, they can also ship goals for fun. We need to pick them off, I'm quietly confident.

We really have a conundrum without Ndidi and Mendy. I loathe seeing us in a back 3 and PSV are so strong out wide, but I don't trust Hamza or Soumare either in a 4-3-3.

 

Really don't know whats best, could we get the diamond working or are we best in a back 3 with Fofana stepping out to win the ball for us? Hmmmmm

Not the best formation against a team thats is strong in wide positions.

 

Personally I drop KDH in the DM roie, has played there plenty time before for Luton, shift Maddison back to the centre of the park and bring Albrigton in a RW.

It seems like such a massive oversight not to include Mendy in the Europa League/etc squad. Did he lose his place due to Soumare? God. Soumare is a downgrade on Mendy.

 

Proper nervous about this. PSV are a proper footballing side.

I love that, actually. Maddison in his best position. KDH isn't a bad tackler and can run all day. I'd prefer him to Soumare and probably Mendy.

....sounds like they went lightweight at the start, and probably had to bring on the cavalry at the end!!!

PSV have proved that they can score against most sides, but they can also concede easily as well.

 

They conceded 4 against Copenhagen and 3 against Twente Enschede today. I still think we are coming good at the right time.
