Big credit all around. Eindhoven as a city and an opposition which were and are incredible host. 
 

An away end which kept going even when losing. In the second half before we bagged, it was really loud. LSF worked a treat because it kept something going without much effort 

 

Players - in particular Fofana, KDH (2-0. Hat-trick), Ricky P, Perez and Lookman 

 

Rodgers for having the nuts to do the change and then bring Perez on to change again. We got a lot of stick after that first leg; plenty saying Schmidt done him tactically but over the course of 180, he did him

Well in truth, Rodgers didn’t really have any other moves to make.  He had three attacking players on the bench, he used them when he was chasing a goal.  There was pretty much no one else.

 

OTOH, at least he was decisive in getting Lookman (who was truly great, I thought) and Daka (who didn’t do a lot) on at halftime.  Too often BR has been way too slow in making changes, even when he gets them right.  These might have been the only clubs he had in the bag but at least he used them.  We didn’t score until late but the flow of the game changed completely when those two came on.

 

I think Lookman deserves to start ahead of Barnes on the left at this point.  He’s clearly in better form.

That ref clearly wasn't keen on penalties. Not sure how he missed the one on Maddison but, I suppose, evens up the one for PSV in the first leg. Would've been a huge talking point had we not gone through.

The great thing about this competition is, if you're not going to consistently get in the champions League at least it's a chance to get big nights like last night. Roma in a competitive game? Amazing.

Anyone else enjoy the excellent commentary last night of Sav and (Leicester lad) Paul Dempsey? 

 

Dempsey sounded emotional at times. He really conveyed the drama. Sav's yelps of delight in the background for both goals were grwt to hear.

Still buzzing from that. Must say I thought the pitch was shocking to. Wonder if they internally kept the grass a bit longer. Any one who was there did they water it? There was a few bounces and bobbles that I don't think the players were expecting!

Just woke up after the epic day that was yesterday! Without doubt one of THE best away days in my 30 years of following City!!! Well played to all that travelled and sung there hearts out from start to finish!! I bloody love this club!!

Just looked at our second goal again.

 

I was caught up in the.moment during the match.  I hadn't realised how sensational the passing was in the build up to Daka's shot.

If Daka had put it away it would have been one of the most beautiful goals I've ever seen us score in nearly 50 years of following the blues.

What was their defender doing for our 2nd goal?  On his arse, the gets up just in time to get his body out of the way of the shot. 
 

The sheer “losing themselves in joy” moment between Maddison and Dewsbury-Hall after Pereira scored was quite something to see. They love what they do.

My Kumpel in Niederland just called...PSV fan....!!

 

His thoughts...Firstly he said Great atmosphere & scenes with the fans before the match & after ,suprisingly still Friendly well until the Early hours.

Police were around but kept their distance,Undercover mixed as they do..If anything Infostand happened elswhere, They didnt here of it & they did

ask the Police chkpt if any clashes elsewhere, They said all quiet. some Leicester fans took selfies with Police..

 

The game, his thoughts, PSV too passive,but City still seems to hold well even though they were not on it, in the first 20...I

He wanted to Watch Tielemans, & KDH.     His thoughts. 2 Silly mistakes from Tielemans, disappointed in his first half performances, but his opinion

Tielemans class, later came through.....KDH & Maddison, my friends words... "Give those two the ball, they with Tielemans will boss/Control many games, But

too slow moving it from the back. There were moments where the slow Build up was good,But like Dutch-sides of old, Leicester

didnt Explode at the right time.

He said Fofafa...played in another stadium..brilliant.    He liked the skills of Perez & Lookman, Surprised they were not ever presents..

 

PsV, wasnt so disappointed,thought they played well & would go onto win it, Evans was a Bit shakey, & thought they could Take advantage...

But again Fofana

just stood his ground, even with 2 slips...he thought his midfield was a bit behind, when they should of moved it..

On the Bias side...his thoughts, was PSV were just going to be too strong overall, and Yes he thought their players were better on form..

 

I saw the First 15...& from 73 minute just before Madders goal, so I Dont have any all round observations..

 other than Madders,Perez,Lookman I thought were excellent...

And Fofana controlled his part of the pitch, he could of fetched some Pommes & still controlled the game...
