Corky Posted 29 September 2022 Posted 29 September 2022 80,000 people in this country wanted her and the idiots in her cabinet. Hopefully they'll all **** off to a deserted place, call it Toryland and we can have grown ups running this country. 1 2
Dames Posted 29 September 2022 Posted 29 September 2022 The lack of honeymoon period for a Conservative Prime Minister is unheard of in this Country. That is how bad she is.

The Tory membership demographic is predominantly middle and upper class male and over 60. Give it time and their rotten corpses will be pushing up daisies and we will have grown ups running this country. Edited 29 September 2022 by The Fox Covert 1

Izzy Posted 29 September 2022 Posted 29 September 2022 The general mood around politics right now feels a lot like it did just before Tony Blair won to me. 1

I've given this morning's whole round a listen now and she absolutely floundered against all lines of questioning. None of the interviewers bought her rehearsed lines about "Putin's war" or any of that crap. She's basically reiterated what she said in countless hustings and hasn't wavered from that at all. Of course with the sheep in attendance clapping her every word she thinks she is going "to deliver" without question. When put up to further scrutiny outside of her pointless hustings though, she collapses like a house of cards. There is no substance to what she says and there never has been. The fact that a few hundred thousand are prepared to actually bother to sign an on line petition mean sod all even if all 20 million signed it - nothing will happen. The govt have a five year term and they will see it out …..
Dahnsouff Posted 29 September 2022 Posted 29 September 2022 Politics is so reactionary these days though, it’s like people believe they have some bizarre right to not buy in when it does not suit them
lgfualol Posted 29 September 2022 Posted 29 September 2022 The fall of the tory scum would be so beautiful if they were not still so dangerous.

She does seem out of her depth, can't see it lasting long even though I don't really follow politics, she was talking on the news about every pound saved is like some sort of win for the public with a smile on her face (basically laughing in the public's face) 1

Dahnsouff Posted 29 September 2022 Posted 29 September 2022 They must fancy a few cycles out of power at this point surely? It’s incomprehensible that they would be quite this tone deaf! Oh wait…
