Should be significant enough contact to impede the player or stop them getting the ball, problem is and always have been that refs give penalties for the lightest of touches. You can't blame the players. If the referees & authorities took a hard, sensible line on it diving & petulance would be gone in a season.

They did in one season in CL. I don't remember which year was it, I think 2005-2006. There have been 2 straight cards for diving inside the box.

How?

Latest signing from Shakhtar. They agreed a fee but then waited until FIFA said that any foreign players in Ukraine could suspend their contracts. Therefore got him a minimum fee for the season.

Am I right in thinking it’s essentially a loan. He’ll go back to Shakhtar when they’re back playing (providing his original contract is still running). Or have the rules changed?

Correct, reading deeper but seems poor of Fulham to turn their back on the deal when Shakhtar are trying to operate with not much income currently

We will smack them - as we always did at Highbury and now the Emirates.... - and cannot wait to see the Ars fans reaction

I hope no one from their fan's site sees this. They will copy it and use it to kick our arses if we get a tonking or even worse Arteta shows it to the team just before going onto the pitch.:D

I don't know if £30m on Aguerd and £30m on Scamacca is sensible shopping on paper, but we'll see.

Aguerd just undergone ankle surgery. Sustained in a friendly

I assume it was a joke - we never got anything at Highbury and I think we’ve only managed 4 points at the emirates since it was built

Steven Gerrard is great value at 16.

same with steve cooper.

I don’t think their nutty greek will give him much time if he has a rocky start after spending all that dosh.

clearly not sentimental as they wouldn’t give the keeper who got them to the prem a fair wage, yet stumped up 200k for lingard

No-one mentioning Bruno Lage?

Wolves finished last season in tatters and have also struggled in recruitment this window.
