So much for that Independent regulator that would hold Manchester City to account. There’s no way the PL allow any of the marketable seven to come under fire. Damages the brand far too much if there’s no title race now.

Some must be very naive to believe that ManCity will face major consequences such like points deduction. They'll be issued a fine. There's no way the authorities will mess with this worldwide "successful" product called English Premier League.

The so called big 6 have done the same all these years except probably Liverpool, this is why the latter is in a crisis.

What about the others? Everton should have been already somewhere in League Two. Newcastle just started, let's see how this pans out. Marinakis and Forest are a different beast altogether... Is anyone investigating Wolves and Aston Villa? Thought so.

Then you have us trying to play it almost fairly by the books, trying to clear debts etc.

Our PL win shook the football world in a bad way. They won't allow it to happen again and since then they've taken all the "measures" to make sure it won't be repeated.

You can't imagine a big club like Man City punished in a Luton type points deduction

It's an ok if unspectacular squad. Think they lost their identity a bit when they got rid of Bielsa though. Still expect them to be in that bottom 5 somewhere.

Well done to Harry Kane, an incredible record at one club!

At least he didn't get his record against us!

Ah, but in the end he did, didn't he  ...

It's gonna be awkward in about 10 years when Harry Kane is pundit alongside bit part and lesser players who have actually won trophies.

I can't imagine anything more awkward than Harry Kane as a pundit, regardless of who's alongside

We've seen ourselves firsthand, people who are successful in the Austrian League at Red Bull Salzburg aren't necessarily well rounded talents.

Hasenhuttl was and is available.

Could see that - wonder if someone like Jaissle could be tempted.

For the sake of a couple of weeks can you imagine if Leeds could have had Dyche, what a pairing that would be in a grim stomach churning kind of way.

The Ginger Revie.

My guess would be bielsla goes in at southampton. Leeds will be interesting as they are ambitious, can’t see them looking for a stop gap. If they find it too hard to attract someone, hassenhuntle isn’t a bad shout.  Would be funny if they just swapped ex managers

Next Leeds manager odds

Carlos Corberan 5/4

Mauricio Pochetttino 5/1

Marcelo Bielsa 6/1

Ange Postecoglou 15/2

Ralph Hasenhuttl 17/2

Rafa Benitez 10/1

Brendan Rodgers 14/1

Thomas Tuchel 16/1

Michael Carrick 20/1

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 20/1

Steven Gerrard 20/1

Frank Lampard 25/1

Roy Hodgson 33/1

Of these the highest on the list who would even contemplate it would be Postegoglou imo.

Not 100% sure Roy could get permission from his nurse.🤣

Poch is too ridiculous for words!

But nice to see BR on the list.
