Lookman is a better then Barnes anorl we need 2 very good wingers if we play one up top otherwise it’s pointless don’t create enough
s11nny Posted 7 May 2022 Posted 7 May 2022 First player that comes to mind that I don’t want sold is kelechi. Especially if he was sold to another prem team. 2
SheppyFox Posted 7 May 2022 Posted 7 May 2022 (edited) Keep:- KS Fofana Justin Ricky Castagne KDH Mendy Ndidi Daka Kel (Rodgers can F off instead) Lookman (buy) Vardy Edited 8 May 2022 by SheppyFox 1

Imo barnes needs to mix it up... including getting to the byeline like the home roma fixture. He also has a focus and confidence problem that needs to be fixed. These things can be done.... but I see little improvement in issues that dog players. I think they each need a personal coach/psychologist Edited 8 May 2022 by foxinsocks 1

I like Barnes, but that's a very Jesse Lingard "still young". He's 24, 25 in December. As a pacy attacking player, we should be starting to see the best of him and he should be starting to approach his prime over the next year or so. Next season will be a massive season for Barnes I think. Edited 8 May 2022 by Sampson
whoareyaaa Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 Just now, Sampson said: I like Barnes, but that's a very Jesse Lingard "still young". He's 24, 25 in December. Granted he's not a spring chicken but still has 6 years at the top of his game, I think the injury has really effected him and has not been the same since.. however a full pre season and a regular starting spot next season we may see that form we know he can produce more regular obviously he has things to work on but no players perfect

Pliskin Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 To be honest, I’d rather Rodger piss off and we work on getting back to our best. I miss Cags doing Cruyff turns in his penalty area. 1
alanf0x Posted 8 May 2022 Posted 8 May 2022 Fofana Evans Castagne Ricardo Justin Ndidi Dewsbury-Hall Maddison Vardy And there we have the problem. 9 out of a 25 man squad ( 3 of which are right backs) 1
TrentFox Posted 9 May 2022 Posted 9 May 2022 Apart from Wes and KDH, I honestly couldn’t care who they sell. Don’t recall feeling so little attachment to almost an entire squad. 😞
Xen Posted 9 May 2022 Posted 9 May 2022 Bit of a left field answer, but Praet. It won't happen whilst Rodgers is here, but if we do change the manager and sell Youri (which seems highly likely) then we'll need to bolster our midfield, and Praet was certainly good enough when he did play. If we can give him more reassurances about his minutes he might be convinced to come back. A midfield of Ndidi/Praet/KDH with Maddison in front could be really dynamic and give us a more solid base going forwards, and we can focus transfers on other areas desperately in need of attention. Even if we are committing to a rebuild, we don't have unlimited funds so if there's a solution already available to us it makes sense to utilise it. I'd also be tempted to keep Mendy. He's unspectacular but he keeps things ticking over nicely and with the right set up around him he's quite an effective DM. Arguably his exclusion from the European squad and ndidi's injury was a major factor to us missing out against Roma (and making a meal of things against PSV) 2
brownfox Posted 9 May 2022 Posted 9 May 2022 (edited) The players I think we got to keep and build around: maddison barnes KDH Fofana jj periera the players I don’t want to be sold but if sold I’d be gutted but accept: evans Ndidi kasper Castagne thomas vardy kalechi albrighton soyuncu tielemans Players if sold not bothered: soumare mendy daka hamza ward players that have to be sold Perez lookman probably earned his transfer so one for future potential leavers in summer tielemans soyuncu perez preat Hamza mendy bertrand (forgot he plays for us) vestergard potential shock one will be ndidi Edited 9 May 2022 by brownfox
Merchant_Banker Posted 9 May 2022 Posted 9 May 2022 (edited) Players we should keep: - Schmeichel/Iversen/Ward (Schmeichel starts next season, Iversen takes over as number one before Kasper leaves in summer 2023) Perreira/Castagne Fofana Evans Justin/ Thomas (Soyuncu leaves, two CBs needed, one experienced leader, one younger, Amartey may stay as cover) Ndidi KDH Maddison (assume Tielemans is leaving, Praet will not get game time under Rodgers, Mendy and Choudhury can also leave, decision needed on Soumare. Would love to get in a big physical destroyer in midfield and to help with set pieces) Barnes (Sell Perez, Buy Lookman as competition on left, two RWs needed and competition for Maddison at 10. Albrighton may stay as cover for RW or if we go 3 atb) Vardy Ihenacho Daka (We need a striker who can play on his own up top. Vardy is suffering with more injuries and Ihenacho/Daka cannot play on their own) I have listed 16 players to keep, 3 possibles and 5 to sell, so we need at least 6 players, assuming a 25 man squad, possibly 9. I know this won't happen, but we can dream can't we? Just seen the post above and totally forgot abut Bertrand and Vestergard, so two more to add to the sell (or shoot) list. Edited 9 May 2022 by Merchant_Banker
ParkerPen Posted 9 May 2022 Posted 9 May 2022 aint no-one stupid enough to pay for the likes of vestergard and bertrand
Dahnsouff Posted 10 May 2022 Posted 10 May 2022 Keep Wes Evans JJ (LB) Ricardo KDH Barnes Daka Kelechi Vardy??? May want to leave for their own reasons Ward Kasper Castagne Tielemans Vardy??? Sell if possible Amartey Soyuncu Bertrand Vestergaard Hamza Praet Perez Mendy
