Whilst he may not be up to it. Let’s just reflect on the wet farts in front of him unable to put in a block/tackle.

He’s been massively exposed by the honking defence, when ideally he could have been eased in better into being a number one had we had a couple of decent defenders.

It's not the defence. It's the shape, the set up and absolute total inertia on the sidelines to tactically react to in game momentum.

The team.has absolutely no structure to refer to under pressure. Every single other PL team has a playback of how to react to certain scenarios; early goal up or down, if you go 2 up.or down, if you concede late to set up a Grandstand finish, sending offs. We basically seem to just have a go out and do your best approach

Statistically if you get a shot on target against him then it is more likely to go in than be saved.

Over a game or two that is a statistical quirk, over 7 games that is pure and utter ineptitude.

21 saves to 22 conceded is beyond horrific, there must be non league keepers that would have done better than that

We'll never win a game with Danny Fraud in goal - at least with Iversen we beat the mighty Stockport & won some pre-season games.  Any opposition player just needs to take a pot shot & if it's not straight at him, it's a goal.  I appreciate we don't appear to have any decent full backs any more but the first name to be removed from the team sheet is Ward's - which demonstrates how deluded BR is & why he has to be removed from the club before the next match.

Kasper was as consistent as any keeper in World Football, and regularly became a match winners like the very best keepers in the world do. People are now seeing how much of a great he was, he almost single handedly stopped this season happening last season, and the season before, with his regular key saves.

Can't imagine he's in a good place mentally.

He must know he's not up to it but has to continually go out knowing the world is watching.

Hands up if you posted on here how good you thought he’d be and would be a more than adequate replacement for Schmeichel.

Cos he’s not very good at all is he.

Why on earth didn’t the club recruit an able deputy before it decided to let Schmeichel go?

Another major fook up on the part of LCFC

Bet no one owns up..

👍

According to many on here he was basically the sole reason for us conceding goals at set pieces.

Which (again) was utter nonsense

Apart from the worldy save he pulled off he was utterly hopeless today bordering on the comical. Never seen a keeper dive without outstretching their arms before lol

Agreed. Hold no ill feeling to him though, he's been thrown in at the deep end and he's way out of his depth

I’ll say it again but it’s pathetic we went into a top flight season with Ward as number 1.

Henderson was a loan option, Pope was free.

I realise this sounds illogical and harsh, but I already thought he wasn't up to it even before seeing him play. I didn't need to see him sitting 5 or 6 a match to realise. He just doesn't look like an elite level performance sportsperson.

A fair few thought that. Probably all the weight he’s carrying.

I don’t think it was a terrible idea to give him a try, but after the Southampton game Iversen needed to come in.

Confidence has been shot because he’s so poor. You can see that all the defenders and midfielders are scared he will do something stupid, which in turn makes them do stupid things. See Wilfred Ndidi in multiple games.

Both rumoured to have around 100k wages so we wouldn’t of been able to get
