 We are in block P right next to the away fans and they sang it around 3 times thro the second half.

 

Our fans sang it once sarcastically when he managed to save the ball going out of play.

I'd argue that blindly cheering isn't being a supporter at all. It's what got us into this situation. You want whats best not what makes one individual happy.

He's never going to come out and say "you're right, that was a disaster class in goalkeeping, the guy's a turd and I need to flush him"

 

And I can't ever remember a keeper being hooked at HT in the PL. It just doesnt happen.

Ideally shouldn't ever play for us again. Once the fans turn on a player whilst actually on the pitch there's no way back really. 

 

I don't like fans booing their own players it doesn't do any good in the long run and affects the team as a whole.

It’s clear he doesn’t command the box. He was a mess in the relegation season, causing havoc with defenders and he’s clearly not learned from that. 
 

The first two goals today are completely preventable with the help of some strong vocals from the keeper who is the only one to see everything whilst the long balls come forward. 
 

Not saying the defenders were perfect - Jannik / Coady should have cleared the danger for their 1st. And for their 2nd I have no idea what JJ was doing, it was disgusting. 
 

However, with a strong keeper in goal, you’d expect him to read the danger and communicate it effectively. 
 

All in all, no one wants him here. In two very different Premiership LCFC sides, he consistently lets in multiple goals.

Not a fan of this as it implies it can illicit change, booing from the stands does nothing and is all about self gratification and speaking to other fans. It does not cause change at a club any longer, and has not done for a long time. (For brand clubs it’s slightly different but not massively)

Maybe he has communication issues, I.e. not interacting with others effectively and not taking on-board other's advice/criticism?

You could argue that Justin was at fault for the goal more than Ward was. Also that he was unlucky when the third hit the post and went in. What you can’t argue with though is that the fan base has had it with Ward. Getting loudly booed by the fans and ironic cheers for making basic saves should spell the end of his team involvement.

I give Ward less grief for the 2nd as it came off the wolves player twice as he fell over. But overall he was poor. Very poor.
