Possibility he could be playing against us on 20th January if Wrexham’s number 1 goes to AFCON…

What could possibly go wrong there.

I imagine Ward will have No2 stipulated into that contract. Can't risk actually playing.

This would be one of those very rare moments that a returning player does t come back to haunt us.

If he plays, against anyone, it's a guaranteed win.

Hollywood or not, he's signed to be a backup keeper for a team playing in League One last year. And yet Rodgers and Ruud thought he'd be worthy of starts for us in the Prem??

"We have 2 number ones" in reference to f'ing Schmeichel and Ward. Now Ward isn't even number one at Wrexham.

Rodgers has a long list of absolutely ridiculous quotes and that one is right up there.

Wrexham 1-0 Leicester

Shots 9 - 3

On target 4 - 1

Possession 34% - 64%

Van Nistelrooy just left him on the bench and unfortunately had to use him. How he got another game is beyond me but Cooper deserves equal blame for putting him back up to second choice originally.

Rodgers didn't give the remotest shit about the club when Ward became number 1 by default.

he chose to start him vs Wolves when Stolarczyk was fit, the damage done in that game to the confidence and atmosphere in the squad as well as kick starting Wolves under their new manager was immense

Stolarczyk wasn’t in the squad. He came back the next game

Guarantee he'll score a header from a corner with the last touch to rescue a point for them

He’d head it all the way back into their own net

Be like the old Sunday League days where you'd see a fat lump in goal and just shoot from anywhere.

Guaranteed a few will trickle in past this useless waste of space.

he was out there doing the warm up, he had played for the U21s earlier that week, he was fit to play

Thats your opinion. If he was fit for the senior squad then he would have been in the squad. I presume a decision was made that following the U21 he needed a bit more time for a top tier important match. He was coming back from quite a long layoff.
