moore_94 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Needs to be bombed down to 3rd choice until his contract ends in 2025 (or if we somehow get lucky with some other club wanting him) Give Iversen or even Smithies a go for the rest of the season
justfoxes Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Not Good Enough to be Leicester’s No1 Keeper far too many mistakes game after game, he has to be dropped sold on come Summer !!
Hamilton Fox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 I really can’t see how iversen can be any worse 4
Craig Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 The only goalkeeper I've ever seen that manages to enlarge the goal for the opponent during one-on-ones (except Weghorst - who is just Weghorst). 2
Pablito Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Conrad Logan might be available, hes still paying for Anstey Nomads. 1
AyewJoking Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 FÙCK YOU WARD Its time to get out of this club, Ward What are you even doing here anyway, Ward You dont even know where to stand, Ward FÙCK YOU WARD 1 1
adam Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Terrible terrible keeper. But we all knew that. Brendans only playing him because he is stubborn
walkerleeds Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Would be very Leicester City to give him a contract extension in the summer. 1
Mike1983 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 There’s no club that would be willing to match anywhere near his current salary. The fact that he had 2 EPL starts prior to this season, also confirms that he doesn’t give a toss about playtime. Ward is going nowhere until his contract ends in 2025. 2
BillyFOX12 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 1st goal can’t blame him for them scoring, but he also didn’t put any pressure on Rashford whatsoever. 2nd goal awful positioning, has to run like his arse was on fire, then jumps over the ball in the most odd fashion.
fazzyfox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Just seen the first goal again. Originally thought Ward had stayed rooted and not come out…..didn’t realise that even worse he was scampering backwards . Does he sit with the GK coach in the coming days and explain his logic. When Fernandes plays the through ball he may have thought it could be a 50-50 and worth rushing out for but when he sees it pitch so close to Rashford he changes his mind and stalls his run in fear of being lobbed. But he’s not that far off his line and the adjustment that follows - the scampering back seems a panic reaction with no need or benefit resulting in offering no kind of barrier.
Popular Post Hales Posted 19 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 19 February 2023 I miss kasper He gave confidence and also had the bastard about him which was needed today! 6
Mike Oxlong Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 (edited) It’s not even my money but I’m hurting with how much we have wasted on Ward, Soumare, Vestergaard and Bertrand Edited 19 February 2023 by Mike Oxlong
so1 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 It was all there for us to see that last exhibition match in the summer. The difference between Ward and Kasper. Like night and day when Kasper came on the pitch before leaving for good. I want Ward to succeed here but losing Kasper was the writing on the wall. We'll be extremely lucky to find anyone to replace him. 1

Actually it feels quite embarrassing to go from having a world class keeper in Kasper Schmeichel to a keeper that wouldn’t start in league one. We’ve become a laughing stock… 1
coolhandfox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 15 games to go of Ward then we will have a new number 1.
StanSP Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 First goal was nothing he could really do. Rashford all alone with so much time to pick his spot. He scores that against most keepers. The second was just horrific positioning and even attempts at a save. The third everyone else had given up anyway.
Soar Fox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Would genuinley give Alex Smithies a start next week.
Tommy Fresh Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Genuinely laughed at the second goal, mixture of despair and just because of how shit he is

No, and it looked like he knew there was nothing he could do except give Rashford as much of the goal as possible to aim at.
