I think the Maddison-DM-KDH midfield 3 is unbalanced and won’t work as well as people think. It does have potential though and could be something Brendan will try.

...silly question, who is DM!!!

Haha! Hopefully next season our DM options will be Mendy, Ndidi and Sangare  :)

Brendan will know if any Academy players are anywhere near ready or not. Absolutely pointless putting one of them in the side for the sake of it. Enough squad players have been getting splinters all season so use them first. Plenty of us will be making the "pointless" trip to Stamford Bridge and don't want another Tottenham shambles. Hope he goes as strong as possible (which he will).

Our record vs the big 6 this season hasn't been anywhere neat good enough and especially away from home where we've picked up a solitary point. If we could get a result here it would be a big boost after a tough year.

Hopefully someone reminds Mount how much of a liability he is at Wembley and that Rudiger is a massive bell sniffer.

I remember the days when we we're apart of the big 6.

Surely it's most likely to be Brunt, if anyone, who gets a chance?

Not as a replacement for Youri Tielemans. Also even if was picked instead of Mendy at DCM, if he genuinely had a career as a DCM here he'd not be playing centre back in the U23's given we don't have any DCM's in the U23's.

I genuinely fancy us to get something. We know where the goal is again and Evans and Fofana can do a job on Lukaku I think

Are we having a sweepstake for the minute in which Rudiger heads in a corner unmarked?

Gotta be 3mins 😝

I really fancy us too which means we'll lose.

Be great to get some momentum going into next season.

I do think Arsenals result guaranteeing Chelsea CL now helps, an Chelseas recent form, make the keys to getting a result clear, we could produce a performance similar to the Liverpool win, as it's clear we will have less possession, we have a threat on the counter, I wouldn't be surprised.

Vardy to score a hat trick tomorrow night

Or to get a card or two. Could go either way.

Chelsea fans will abuse him to high heaven, this is going to be showbiz for the GOAT.

I hope you are right. He normally reacts like that but it feels there is some substance behind this. Fair play to the guy it can’t be easy for him. Mark of a champion if he can.

Now they've got CL wrapped up I think we'll see a fair bit of rotation. Do fancy us nabbing a point on Thurs.

Another positive.for us is that this is not their last home game of the season.

I'm sure someone will prove me wrong but it feels like almost everyone does better in their last home game of the season, even relegation fodder when the pressure is off.

Just had a quick look and for those who have already played their last home game of the season, most have won, notably Newcastle beating arsenal, west ham got a good result drawing against man city and even man u won!

Either that or a red card is coming lol As long as its on Rudiger I don't care to be honest.

These guys have no opportunity to build momentum. Yet Youri plays on regardless, even though he very likely won't be here next year.

And don't forget "has generally been shit!"

So just Lukaku, Rudiger, Azpi and Silva to contend with from corners then :D

Can't believe silva will play

Could be

back three of rudiger, chalobah,  azpi with wing backs of James and alonso

midfield of kante, Loftus cheek and Jorginho

mount, Lukaku and ziyech up top
