From what i've read Urs Fischer would be someone to look at.  He's taken a small team into europe as underdogs and has in the past mounted a title challenge.  He seems one of those people that can drag a team beyond it's so called level

Looking at that list, the most likely candidates I can see is

Sean Dyche

Rafa Bentiez

Ralph Hassentuttl

Ruud Van Nistlerooy

John Terry

The rest very unlikely

English manager William Still is one to keep an eye on.

Currently unbeaten in 12 games with Stade de Reims and he’s got them playing some decent football. Got a good draw against PSG recently.

It’s funny a few seasons ago I thought Everton had become just an expensively assembled, slightly more refined, version of Burnley. Then they became as sh1t as Burnley. Now they’ve appointed Sean Dyche.

Perfect fit really as they already play like Burnley. Now he just needs to get them playing like Burnley did ….when he was at Burnley!

Wish we were as good as Burnley under him.

Top really likes Rodgers doesn't he? Oh well, lets just hope we can somehow win enough games to stay up, whether by actual good play OR luck.

It's going to be tighter than a badger's arse. Cross everything!

Just came across this, Thomas is quite in tune to the wider picture .  With our buddhist owners, there could be some synergy there... Long shot but there could another layer to management that Thomas could harness /practice here .  The inner belief/Karma.  Unlikely , but could see the club and manager bonding being on a similar wavelength... This club is different maybe just maybe

It'd be amazing if we got Tuchel or Poch but highly doubt we would be able to attract them. Unfortunately because of where the club is at (transfer budgets etc) and no longer competing in the top six/four, it's naturally more restrictive in terms of who you can get. Completely different times of course but an article when Shakespeare left indicated Tuchel wasn't interested in becoming manager at the time.
