After Puel & Rodgers, I’m sick and tired of watching us play boring possession based football.

I really don’t understand the calls for Dyche either, if we still had Chris Wood up front I’d understand it, but weighing up certain squads in trouble, he seems more suited to Everton than Leicester.

Brighton found a gem in De Zerbi, they did their research, found that his Sassuolo and Shakhtar sides played entertaining possession based football, his style perfectly suited Brighton so they plumped for him.

Our board need to do similar, I want to be entertained, I want to see a team play an exciting brand of football, a team that plays with a certain energy and works their bollocks off.

I’ve said his name many times before and I’ll say it again...

Matthias Jaissle - RB Salzburg.

This is rudkins job - scouting potential managers. But after the mega contract signed by Rodgers it looks like they literally dropped the ball on this part of contingency planning

You have to think which managers could work with a very limited budget, dyche can, he’s done it for years at Burnley, I don’t think it’s no coincidence the cameras zoomed in on him sat at forest, although can’t we get Cambiasso back.

Is our squad suited to his football though?

I look at Everton’s squad, they have defenders like Tarkowski(Who he’s worked with) and Conor Coady. They have the likes of Dwight McNeil(Who he’s worked with). They have target men like Calvert-Lewin and Simms. Their squad screams “Dyche ball” more than ours.

Matthias Jaissle is the manager of a club that is big on youth, RB Salzburg have one of the youngest squads in the whole of Europe. His teams are energetic, work their bollocks off, and one thing in particular, they have forwards with pace. Daka, Vardy & Barnes would be suited to his style.

According to Wikipedia Rodgers has played zero (0) professional games of football.

Therefore to improve I would employ a coach who has played at least one (1) professional game of football.

Simples.

Good point. Everton seems a great match for Dyche with that squad.

Wasn't he close to getting that job some years ago too?

I'd still take Dyche here though, as I think we have certain players that would respond well to his management style and persona

The players look so low on confidence and scared at the moment. I think we need someone who can bring back some confidence and character.

Tuchel is not going to slum it with us don’t be daft

Yes, for a minute there, I lost myself 😆. But ..He’s out of work.  Temporary to end of season.  He’s nothing to lose if we go down. Stay up and he’s put himself back in the Premiership shop window

I’m glad you’re back from your trip in fantasy land, so… Allardyce or Bruce?

You’re only saying that to put yourself in the running Mr Oldfield!

I'd love Vincent Kompany but isn't going to happen.

He would jump at the chance to come here, managing better players etc, probably has his eye on the Manchester City job when Pep leaves.

We will probably end up with Gerrard knowing our luck.

Funny that because someone mentioned him the other day.  And I'd totally forgot about him maybe he could fire up the players a bit🤷🏻‍♂️

Would he? He's nailed on to get a promotion on his CV, why swap that for a relegation battle?

Likely to be swapping places with us in 6 months time and would cost us too much to get him here.

How he's set Burnley up is mightily impressive. And a bit like Arteta, will have Pep's philosophies instilled in him.

Managing in the premier league, keep us up and it’s Better than a promotion on his CV.

Never heard of this guy but you’ve sold him well.

Why would Kompany come here? Probably has more money to spend at Burnley.

I’m not sure why he would either.

He’ll be taking Burnley up and probably still lives in his family home in Cheshire.

Not sure it looks good if he leaves Burnley before actually achieving something either. He’ll want to get them over the line and then keep them up as a minimum - it looks better in his CV.
