Gut says Kompany would turn us down but lets not pretend Burnley's ceiling is higher than ours. What is he realistically going to be able to do at Burnley other than what Sean Dyche did for most years?

Why would Kompany want to join a club unwilling/ unable to spend any money?  No chance he would come to us.

I think our biggest problem stems from constantly missing 5+ squad players from the team. We don't have a settled line-up, players like Ndidi have been non-stop battling to come back/stay fit for 3 years. It can't be a healthy for anybody's mentality going through surgeries/rehab, fight for fitness to then breakdown again.

 

Other clubs manage alright. It seems to be a hallmark of Rodgers' management.
